I was so hopeful when I received this yesterday and out off the box the charging function did not work. I then contacted Amazon who shipped me a replacement over night. It's now installed and working. There were some bad reviews that have merit. One, no matter how tight I make the screws it's still not secure. I secured the bar with a small black zip ties. Now it's exactly where I want it to be and it's secure. The second was the battery. I replaced the low grade battery from China with higher end JESSY 18650 batteries bought from Amazon. I don't know for sure but I am hopeful these new batteries will have greater performance and duration. I'm give this fixes a week and update this review. ... show more

The knobs are twisted on too tightly on both ends and it would benefit greatly if it had extra spacers for incase the handle bars aren't the right fit. The packaging it came with was loose too which was evident due to it popping off during delivery and I opened my package to find its pieces scattered around my box. Edit: The customer support was kind enough to send me a replacement but the problem of the loose plastic packaing still remains and I hope this issue gets fixed because my original package had parts scattered inside of it and luckily, it didn't get damaged inside my Amazon box. ... show more

The thing is easy to install on your handlebar, and it works well enough as just a handlebar extender. But it is sold as a battery charger. It contains two rechargeable18650 batteries which would nominally be a nice spare charge that would come in handy to charge a phone or keep it topped up while you're riding. But the thing is utterly unable to deliver any useful charge to anything. The output voltage drops to 4.1 volts at just 400mA load. My Huawei and Samsung phones only charges at 200mA , which is absurdly weak. This product is defective and should be removed from sale. ... show more

Great product but as soon as I open the box, one of the nail is missing. The downside is I have either unscrew the remaining nails or find the longest charger to recharge the handle bar. The great thing about this product is it recharges fast.
