I was so hopeful when I received this yesterday and out off the box the charging function did not work. I then contacted Amazon who shipped me a replacement over night. It's now installed and working. There were some bad reviews that have merit. One, no matter how tight I make the screws it's still not secure. I secured the bar with a small black zip ties. Now it's exactly where I want it to be and it's secure. The second was the battery. I replaced the low grade battery from China with higher end JESSY 18650 batteries bought from Amazon. I don't know for sure but I am hopeful these new batteries will have greater performance and duration. I'm give this fixes a week and update this review.

Pros: Adds storage space to handle bars. Power source for recharging phones. Rechargable Cons: Battery access is too easy for others to steal the batteries out of when parked outside of a grocery store, convenience store. I do like this alot, it's handy to have but really wish the battery caps were lockable instead of just being twist screwed on.

As soon as I received it and went to install I noticed the mounting brackets were very cheaply made, secondly 2 out of the 4 bolt were completely stripped out not allowing it to tighten down on the extension bar or on the handle bars. Need to upgrade the mounting brackets very week and the bar itself could be a tad bit longer by the time you have it mounted very little space on either side of mounting brackets very cramped after adding your headlight and phone holder. Also double check to be sure that the batteries are installed correctly on mine 1 was installed backwards and when I went to charge it I'm glad I was sitting near by and noticed that it had a strange smell and had started to smoke and the bar was hot on 1 side I quickly unplugged it and uni stalled the batteries and let it cool off when looking over the batteries we noticed that 1 of them was slightly damaged and the damage done was due to being installed wrong. Also mine was missing the little rubber piece that keeps out water or fluids from the on/off button. Not worth the money spent

i like the product it could be better, no directions on how to charge the unit, the usb c only works for charging the unit im guessing, the usb a can charge other devices so if you have a usb a to usb c you can charge your device if its usb a to micro usb but need a usb c youll need an adapter which amazon sells otherwise great product if you dont mind using different cables or adapter

Second Update: REPLACEMENT arrived and works great! Update: Great news! Updating my rating since the supplier has offered to replace my non-working battery. Will post another update once the replacement arrives. Stopped working after two months use. Return window only 30 days.
