I was so hopeful when I received this yesterday and out off the box the charging function did not work. I then contacted Amazon who shipped me a replacement over night. It's now installed and working. There were some bad reviews that have merit. One, no matter how tight I make the screws it's still not secure. I secured the bar with a small black zip ties. Now it's exactly where I want it to be and it's secure. The second was the battery. I replaced the low grade battery from China with higher end JESSY 18650 batteries bought from Amazon. I don't know for sure but I am hopeful these new batteries will have greater performance and duration. I'm give this fixes a week and update this review.

Doesn’t stay charge for long even being plugged in for hours

Junk clamps. I cannot mount this properly. The included clamps do not clamp tight (even though the description says 31.8mm clamp) without the shim and with the thinnest shim, the bolt angle wants to cross thread. When I finally squeezed the clamp enough to start threading but even when fully tightened, it just wants to spin on the cheap rubber shim. Not secure at all. Imagine losing your phone or expensive action camera because of a cheap junk clamp. I have mounted hundreds of things on handlebars and I have never struggled like this. I felt so stupid until I realized it wasn’t me that was the problem. So no actual review of what this actually does because I can’t use it. It’s too heavy to lug around without anything mounted to it. Foiled again. Maybe the folks with 22mm bars will have better luck.

When your on extended bike rides and need to recharge this product gives you that ability. I’ve used it for my cell phone safety lights and it was incredibly eases to install and accepts type c chargers . Great product.

i like the product it could be better, no directions on how to charge the unit, the usb c only works for charging the unit im guessing, the usb a can charge other devices so if you have a usb a to usb c you can charge your device if its usb a to micro usb but need a usb c youll need an adapter which amazon sells otherwise great product if you dont mind using different cables or adapter

My initial impression of it is that it seems to be made of quality lightweight materials and have good durability, has a new look, with adequate space making its functionality good. It was easy to install and seems secure i will update after I use it some.

This is a nice addition to my ebike. It allows me to space out all the accessories I have which results in an organized and balanced layout. I have a phone holder and a bell on this extender. Thanks to the spacing the bell sounds awesome.
