So I did read that the white is not really white. This is true…but it was for my Mom and she loves it, even if it is off white. I am a 66 year old female who put the table and chairs together alone. It took over an hour, but was not confusing or difficult. I should have protected my back better, as I spent too much time leaning forward over the job while standing up. The cushions are very convenient, not soft and cushy, but I also looked at full wooden chairs that I’m glad I didn’t buy. The cushioned chairs saved me from needing to buy separate ones. I also loved that you can buy the set with two chairs or four. I bought with two, knowing that if needed, I could add two more chairs at a letter date. Everything came in three boxes, well packed. Oh, it’s also nice to have the drop leaf style! ... show more

No pedastal. Just top of table. Hopefully FedEx brings it later. If so, I'll change review. Update: the pedestal was dropped off today. Everything looks great. Updated review stars. Thank you! Update: so I finally put the table together and noticed it's cracked. They cut the bottom, the inseam as shown in the pictures, which compromised the integrity of the wood and the thing is split.
