I needed a portable camp fire solution for AZ because of the long periods of fire restrictions. My adventure vehicle is pretty small and I didn't have enough room for a larger pit and propane setup. I just did my first trip at 8400 feet. I used a 220g SnoPeak Propane-Isobutane camp stove canister. The adapter worked perfectly. It burned strong even with occasional gusts of 20 mph. The 220g canister lasted 3 and a half hours. I imagine at lower elevation and/or lower wind, I could turn it down and get even more time. Very happy with the purchase. It was exactly what I needed. The main issue to be aware of is this isn't going to warm up a big circle of people. You have to be sitting pretty close to get any actual warmth. Perfect for a 3 person circle around the fire. Still great for ambiance even if not ideal for providing warmth in larger groups.

This is fantastic. It is small enough that it doesn’t take up the space of a table fire pit but puts out quite a bit of heat. Be careful lighting it. Recommend a long lighter for grills

I’d give this 5 stars but finding the little canisters aren’t easy. Using the 1 pound but obviously takes away from the look. Needs a supplemental “ring” to hide the canister! Otherwise this is awesome for the table top. Easy to do s’mores if you do t want to bust out the big fire pit.

This mini fire pit was beautiful! So easy to use and perfect for our smaller outdoor space. I also have the Flame King 1/2 lb tank which was the best tank for this fire pit. So easy and cheap to refill it as well!

puts out good heat with nice flames. But we assumed it used the standard 16oz readily available propane canisters 🧅nope ! we bought those , and turns out they stuck at the bottom like 4 inches. So we set out, trying to find the 8 ounce version of the canister. We tried the building stores sporting good stores, camping stores , online no one had them. The only versions that were available were butane , or refillable , and there’s no world to refill them around here. We ended up getting the butane version using they included adapter, and that actually worked better than expected. But we would’ve preferred to use propane. I think they should’ve included an optional skirt to go around the bottom to cover the larger common canister. But we can live with this. Would’ve been five stars if not for this inconvenience. Most of us don’t know the details of which sizes these common , and I assumed if they came in 16 ounce , they were available in 8 ounce. Wrong.!

Love this Fire pit, bought a small tripod so that i can use 1lb propane canisters that stick out the bottom of it. The tripod also allows m to connect it to larger propane tanks with an optional hose. It is great that the propane regulator is built in. That should be mentioned so that you know what optional hose you need to buy.

So I’m just using this thing with a regular old 16 oz Coleman disposable canister. Yes, it does stick out the bottom. Yes, it’s also stable and it works. Obviously there are other alternatives but for me, this is about having a “fire” when I’m camping. I live in a no burn area where wood and charcoal are no longer allowed. Having this little fire child with me means I get some heat as the sun is setting and I can roast some marshmallows, and that’s really all I need.
