I like that when they say 10-gauge, it is 10-gauge wire, unlike other wire suppliers. I don't like the separate cords - I will want to tape the red and black wires together every foot or so to keep them together. I will use this cord to bring power to my solar generator. While the reviews state the wire being pretty stiff, which it is for sure, the wire or at least mine was copper. You will need some beefy wire cutters and strippers to get the insulation off of this wire, but other than that, it worked out great for me and my solar setup. To many times people are quick to complain about purchases so I thought I'd take the time to give a good one for this vendor. If you are looking for a rugged outdoor wire solution for solar this should work for you. I bought just the 6ft version and pretty happy with the results. ... show more

Cables seem well built but are relatively stiff. My 4 AWG battery cable is less stiff. Black and red are not attached but are separate cables.

UPDATE: BougeRV contacted me and made things right, awesome customer service! The cable is true PV cable with actual tinned copper and dual insulation. Highly recommended. BougeRV did not request I update this review but I felt it was the right thing to do when they proactively monitor their reviews and make sure their customers are satisfied. Bag had sticker on it that says: Invalid Serial Number, DAMAGED, (Not for sale)....not sure what that's about but does make you wonder, likely a sticker from something else? Or was it? ... show more

Thanks to these cables (I got the ones with the ends already installed since I don't own a crimping tool), I am able to set up my solar panels outside and keep my solar generator inside so I can read the LED screen (it's impossible to read the screen when the generator is in the sun).
