The table arrived in two packages: the pedestal in one, the top in the other. It went together fairly easily until the last step. There were no pilot holes for the four wood screws to attach the two support stops to the underside of the table. I have good mechanical skills and plenty of tools, so I guessed where to put the stops and what size drill (measured the screws at 0.133-inch thread diam, so used a 0.094-inch (3/32) drill. The table is for a corner of our TV room. It can seat four for dinner or playing board games. It looks great, and except for the missing pilot holes, it is a good piece for the money. ... show more

I bought this table for my mother who had just moved in to a senior living community. She has a small area in her apartment for a dining table. She uses this both for dining and as a workspace. This table, with the fold down sides, fits perfectly and can but used in several configurations - fully open, one side down, two sides down. She loves it. The only drawback is that when the table has both sides extended, the seams create a little dip that interferes when writing on it - you need to put something over the seams when writing on paper. But that is a minor drawback. Otherwise, it is sturdy, attractive, and functional. ... show more
