Bought this bat for my 12 yr old grandson playing middle school baseball. He's required to use BBCOR. Marucci bats are really good. I have two other grandsons that play high school baseball that require BBCOR bats & we only use Marucci . This particular bat (F5) is an excellent bat & was only $130.00. If you know anything about bats, you know that BBCOR has less pop than the other bats (USA/USSSA). I'm really impressed with the F5, it is well made, balanced & has decent pop for a BBCOR bat. My son needed a bat he could get used to and can be consistent with. I refuse to spend $4-$500 on bats, they don’t make much difference if the kids don’t know how to hit. The hitting is not in the bat, it’s in the hitter. This bat for the money performs just as good as many as those expensive bats. So don’t waste your money on the high dollar ones.
