My 2 year old desperately wanted to be potty trained. However, short legs and short arms meant that there was no way for the 2 year old to do this on their own. So I got this. I've had two different ones before for two different children. Both times I wondered why I got it and ended up getting rid of them. I'm 50/50 on this one. My toddler actually shows an interest. Almost too much, in fact. This thing gets hauled all over the house while I'm not looking because there is, apparently, a thrill to screaming, "I GOING POTTY!" from every room in the house. The plus is that it's light. The con is that if there is anything in the toilet it's going to be dumped out as soon as this is thrown over a tiny shoulder. Said toddler has mastered door handles and because of other kids needing to use the bathroom I can't just lock this in there. I've tried hiding it in the shower, behind the door, under a towel, but to no avail. As clean as it might be, my toddler can still sniff it out. So the plus is that my toddler loves it. We've had some successful "goings" in it, but I think that's happened more because of the amount of time spent sitting smugly on it while bragging about doing so. The con is that by the time your kids really get the hang of it you might as well just have a seat that goes on the actual toilet. If your kid is interested in being potty trained and you want to take advantage of it, then this one is a plus. I haven't even tried to put the wipes in the back. That just turns this into an even bigger toy. I haven't put batteries in it because I don't want to listen to the sound of a toilet flushing from all over the house. Based on my kids I probably wouldn't buy it again. But if you're looking for one then this is a good one. The insert is easy to take out and clean. There aren't any ridges or anything on it, so it's easy to wipe down with a Clorox wipe.

I recently purchased this chair for my little one, and while he loves sitting on it and enjoys the fun flashing sound, it hasn't quite met our potty training needs. The chair is portable and sturdy, making it a great size for general use, but it doesn't work as effectively for potty training as I had hoped. Overall, it's a good value for the price, but it wasn't the right fit for my son’s potty training journey.

Great sturdy toilet. The wide base makes it very stable. I, child's mom, can sit on it with no issues. For reference I weigh 240 pounds. My son used this toilet until he was 4. It was great for camping trips and long car rides. It never broke.However we didn't use the back of the toilet and that meant all the clip holes were exposed. The holes are small and the only in and out of the inside space.

The toilet is easy to put together and the batteries last quite a bit, even when used more as a toy rather than a potty training tool. The plastic bowl makes clean up quick. If you're like me and can't stand leaving pee droplets on the base or sides of the toilet, the battery portion of the potty is small and comes off. Everything else can be rinsed or sprayed down without concerns over electronic parts not working. The flushing sound is semi-realistic without being too loud. It even lights up when pressed! My only "complain" is that the hollow floor base of the toilet, the part underneath the gray plastic, somehow accumulates pee or gray water. The design makes the seal between the base and the seat great, but not completely impenetrable. I couldn't find the source of the acidic smell of urine until I unscrewed the 5 screws and saw the puddle of grey water and pee at the very bottom of the base. There's multiple divots, so drilling a hole in the bottom and leaving the toilet on a towel won't prevent the necessity to take it completely apart to drain that grey water. I solved this problem by pouring scented baking soda in the divots at the bottom of the base after completely disinfecting it. That way, even if some urine gets into the base, it'll get absorbed and be a little easier to clean up. But beware: if you move the toilet around after adding the baking soda at the bottom, you risk it spilling out through the small crevices. Moving the seat between houses during potty training made it easy to spill the powder if one wasn't careful. I'd still recommend it to anyone, regardless of where the kiddo is in their potty training journey.
