Delivery was FAST. Installation was easy, only required a drill and socket set. Solid construction, and so far has absorbed vigorous use. Threaded snap link gate is a little flimsy, so make sure to take up all the tension when threading it shut.

This is a sturdy hanger and is working really well for our 80lb heavy bag. It lets the bag swing and pivot. Only things to be aware of are: the carabiner that comes with it is not as sturdy as the rest of the components, but if you need to upgrade it's simple switch; on the one I received the instructions said the lag screw needed a 19mm socket and a large drill, but when measuring the screws it turned out to only be a 17mm screw, hence needed small drill for the hold and smaller socket. If you have to pop on by your local hardware store for a socket/drill, take the lag screw along to make sure you get the right size. ... show more

After an hour of research and reading many negative reviews on other brand hangers I settled for this particular item. The Eapele Heavy Bag Hangers Brackets for Wood Beam is built tough and ready for installation right out of the box. Put hanger on desired spot on ceiling, mark drill spots with pen/marker on ceiling where bolt holes are on the hanger, drill two holes and then attach with the two threaded bolts and washers that come with product. It took approximately ten minutes to install. That's it, done! Extremely easy installation, heavy duty product, designed smartly with minimal installation skills and tools in mind. You will need a ladder, a drill for the holes and a socket tool for installing the bolt/screws. Be sure to use a drill bit smaller than the bolt widths. I'm happy with the product and the ease of installation. Installed correctly and this baby isn't going nowhere! Simply attached heavy bag to hanger clip and your ready to workout. Bonus: Comes with an extra carabiner clip that can be used as a double clip at the top of your bag or at the bottom of your bag as a clip for a weight attachment. Solid product! ... show more

I put this on a stud in my garage. It's absolutely perfect for my 100lb heavy bag. Super easy to drill in. After installing my bag, I hung on the bag for a few seconds (in 250lb), thing didn't even make a budge.
