Very smooth and solid
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Not going to lie....I installed this in my home and by myself. It wasn't easy. I wasn't lucky enough to have the joists running the opposite direction of the path I needed for the track. My gym is on the top floor of my home. I ran 2x6's across 2 joists in my attic. The instructions advise to put the track together prior to mounting, but due to social distancing I couldn't call a friend to help me lift it. After putting my 2x6's in, I mounted the first piece to the ceiling individually. Then, I connected the 2nd to it, then to the ceiling. I bought the 8ft one....so then I did the same for the 3rd & 4th piece. It is up....holding my heavy bag sturdy. It smoothly and easily brings my bag from the side wall to the middle of the room and back when done. It handles very well. While the install was voted a little low for MY work...the instructions were easy to understand and the process would've been extremely easier with a friend and joists not running parallel with the direction I wanted my track to run. I'm sure some people can have an easier time with it. While the product is perfect, the only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star is that it was a little pricier than I'd hope for. If it is in your budget this is 100% worth it, though.

You won’t find a better product for hanging a heavy bag.
Absolutely professional grade! This is like a train track on your ceiling for a heavy bag. The smooth wheels glide along the center carrying my 130lbs Muay Thai bag from one end of the 8 foot run to the other. The ability to lock it into place is great, and you just need a step stool to twist the brake handles to hold the bag in one place or release it to slide out of the way. I weight 215lbs and was doing pull ups on the rail along side the 130lbs heavy bag and there was zero movement. This rail is incredibly solid if you take your time and follow the directions with the installation. This is a two person job and because the tracks are so sturdy and heavy, it is a challenge holding them in place to mark the pilot holes and then lock the bolts onto the ceiling joists. I took my time and hand tightened each bolt with a ratchet. I have young children and needed to ensure this would never come down. After a week of abuse, I am confident that there is no possibility of it failing. I called customer support to inquire about the delivery and then had a question about the installation. The customer service was five stars, the gentleman I spoke with even provided his cell phone number right before Christmas in case I had any issues. If I could give this 6 stars, I would.

Perfect for an MMA home gym - professional quality!
We ordered multiple I-beams to cover the length of our room, they fit together seamlessly! VERY sturdy, my husband is a heavy hitter and these beams don’t move a bit. Bags on rails move effortlessly once unlocked, making it super easy to change our training area for different styles of fighting. I highly recommend this product to keep your gym functional and organized. One of my favorite purchases in building our home MMA gym.
