Free-standing and stable - it requires no weights, sand, or water to confidently support heavy bags up to 150 lb (300 lb with spring upgrade). Boxing bags are sold separately. All Balazs' Universal Boxing Stands are extremely stable and do not require any weights or mounting. The Balazs UBS heavy bag station holds heavy bags up to 150 lb with the standard spring or up to 300 lb with the heavy duty spring. Duck, weave, jab, hook and dance like a butterfly without obstruction. All Balazs Mounting Systems, including the Balazs Universal Boxing Stand, are manufactured in the USA.
