We used the bags filled with stone for weights in case of wind and we do lower it if the is an impending storm. It has worked so well and increased our patio use immensely. This tent is great. The overhanging eaves really help keep a larger dry space in the tent when it’s raining. I spent many a rainy day in July sitting under there and staying dry. Very easy to pop up as well.

It looks really nice but we had it set up for two days and the first time it rained, it destroyed it. It bent the metal and broke pieces. Really sucks to be used for two days and it can’t even get rained on without it being destroyed. Very poor quality
