It was a great product at home , used several times . Loved it . It didn’t survive 3 days at the beach . Light winds and it folded like a lawn chair on the 3rd day . It tore 3 of the Velcro mount tapes away from the tent . 2 tore the mount patches away from the tent . I purchased a sewing kit to repair the damage . I never got the chance to do the repairs before it collapsed . The center post plastic handle came apart and when it broke it collapsed the tent and it went all to hell after that . It caught the wind and bent the two joints on the main frame and that was the end of a good thing . Great product at home , but don’t take it anywhere there is a breeze . We had 5/7 knot winds today . Nothing extreme . The day before and day before that was about the same , when it started to rip . It shouldn’t have had any problems at all with this product at the beach . It was not extreme conditions at all . I’m sorry to report this as it was such a great product at home in a suburban setting .............. 7-28-19 . Customer service was outstanding. I was sent a new tent , an additional top and sandbags ( which I never asked for ) . Ms Amy took care if everything . She reached out several times to advise on status . I have opened this new tent and put the top on . It’s a very simple product . Works great and is a breeze to set up . I am going to keep this tent here in suburbia . I have given one star because of the great customer service , and another only because of the ease of set up . This is not a heavy duty product and I wouldn’t recommend it for the beach . The quality was apparent from the moment we unpacked this Canopy. Watched the video and set up was a breeze. We leave the cover on the frame. Set up and take down at the beach is breeze, we use 4 people one on each corner because of the sand. Plenty of shade and UV protection for a group. We have 7 in beach chairs with coolers all in the shade. We bought sand bags that wrap around the legs and they work perfectly to keep the canopy/tent in place. This product works perfectly at the beach and holds up great to the Ocean breeze and wind gusts. We are so pleased to have found this and HIGHLY recommend! ... show more

**Update** The make saw my review and contacted me. A new cover was sent and this one did not have to original issue with the stitches. It was great that they followed through and made it right. Definitely would recommend this product! The frame seems sturdy and the unit as a whole is easy to set up. We don't leave it up and take it down after every use to put it away and not leave it out in the weather. However, every point of stitching where the cover attaches to the frame has come undone and will have to be resewn. Its almost like the machine didn't "close off" the stitch so it just unravels. If they can fix this issue I think this would be an awesome unit. Only time will tell. ... show more

Ordered this on a whim for an upcoming camping trip. This canopy is very high quality, much better than I expected and it stores away more compact than I expected for a 10x10 canopy. Setup is a breeze, the center push/pull mechanism makes it easy for 1 person to setup. I've setup other 10x10 canopies before and it always requires 2 people, this is EASY for one person to setup. Very durable, no concerns of this lasting. I've never heard of Eagle Peak before, but based on the design and quality of this canopy I'll happily turn to them for more of my outdoor needs!! ... show more

After A TON of research I settled for this one. A canopy can be a tricky buy due to so many choices. I liked the American flag pattern so I went for it. We used it on the beach for 5 out of 7 days in September on the North Carolina coast. Winds were around 20mph and gusts up to 35mph each day. I was gritting my teeth the first time setting it up in that wind but was quickly impressed. I also bought 4 sand bags for counter weights and they were AWESOME. They completely saved this canopy for bent legs and a runaway. One taller person (>6') can easily set this up alone. However, best to have at least 2 people to help break down (so you don't bend the legs walking it in). All in all I give it a grade of a solid A. ... show more

Best canopy I’ve ever purchased. Well-designed from the easy one hand pop-up knob to the aerodynamic wind top. I have purchased many as I run a dog rescue and need to provide additional shade while the dogs are outside. I usually cut a small hole in the tarp to allow water to drip from the sides. This helps alleviate the possibility that the canopy will collapse during heavy rain. This particular tarp already has holes provided. I won’t buy any other brand than this one. ... show more

Have used my Eagle Peak canopy a couple of times now. It takes some time, not long, to put the canopy's tent/top cover on. Once on it is light and easy to raise myself. Didn't need anyone's help from day one. I got a very light and small folding ladder I use with my travel trailer to help raise the canopy at its center. It's kind of a long reach if you're on the shorter side of the gene-pool to raise the center connection that locks into place. The little ladder comes in mighty handy when taking it down too. Purchased mine in a patriot thyme. Eye catcher and people stop just to ask about it. It HAS NOT been in a really good wind or rain yet but with the weights I also bought to support and hold down the legs I think it will be OK. If you put it up on pavement like a parking lot I would recommend and advise you to buy weights for the support legs too. ... show more

Bought as a replacement for an old canopy tent that didn’t last long. And may I say, it was worth every penny! The cool material of the tent is a savior to combat against the burning Miami sun. The stakes weren’t sturdy at all for nailing it to the ground so I had to buy some big nails from Home Depot, but that didn’t really matter. I’m sure the stakes were made for sand instead of dirt. Overall, a great deal. EDIT: 1 year later, lost all its color, it’s torn, etc, probably from the Miami sun. However, for its price, it’s worth buying, especially at its price point.
