So it will never supply 12 volts to equipment. It can be used to fix old batteries by de-sulfurizing if set to that mode (a nice feature.)

I was skeptical of the purchase but I tried the repair function on my golf cart batteries that were slowing down. After the repair cycle, they run like new. Every year of life added to the batteries saves money on buying new ones - very impressive. If this company makes an 8V charger, I will buy it for my 8V batteries.

I really like this charger. When I unplug it. And it's still hooked to the battery. You can still read. The voltage and the temperature. And the amps. I just leave it Hooked up. And use it when I need it.

Works great, except on a 5 year old battery that died on a trip. Not the charger's fault. Used on lipo and lead acid batteries so far and did fine.
