I picked up one of these and couldn't be happier. I have enjoyed good car audio for years but faded from the custom end until recently. With a JBL A600 (under rated 600 rms at 2 ohms actually) and this sub in a vented box brought me back to the days of thumping music. The range, sound and volume are impressive for the money. If you feed it good clean power and don't clip your amp to the sky, it will handle 1K. People with issues are using poor amps and/or need to learn some more about what to do. I can't decide if I want to get another or try out the 15. Just get one and enjoy it. ... show more
