There are many things to love about this camera. The best part is you are not required to purchase a subscription to maintain FULL camera functionality. I made the mistake of buying the camera brand that is synonymous with quickly closing and opening your eyes, and that camera is useless without a subscription. This Dzees camera is superior in every way. As I mentioned you don't have to buy a subscription. The optional subscriptions increase your cloud storage, but I find the storage that comes without the subscription is more than sufficient. And you can batch delete the old files quickly and easily with the App to free up space. I didn't even start deleting files until I had a month's worth of clips and I have an average of 25 videos per day. Battery life is great. The camera is rechargeable with a USB-B plug. I have had this camera for over 2 months and the battery is still at half charge. I have not yet had to recharge it since the initial charge when I first received the camera. It charged up very quickly. The night vision is superior to That Other Camera, too. I have this Dzees camera mounted outside of a 2nd story window where I can reach it easily when it comes time to recharge it. My entire driveway area is easily visible for quite a distance with this camera. That Other Camera? Beyond 10-15 feet you see nothing. This camera also has a light you can engage with the app, and the visibility improves even more, and it switches to color. I also like you can move the camera view via the app. Something like 110 degrees. Definitely consider this camera over some of the name brand cameras. ... show more

I initially bought this camera to install in my outdoor sheep shed in order to monitor my 4 sheep and any potential predators. I set the camera on my front porch for a trial run. The camera alerts me when an Amazon package is delivered (!!), when my LP gas is delivered, and when 2 stray dogs happen onto my front porch. I receive a vibration through the app and can immediately see what triggered the motion detector. Yet is is an unintended use that has me so very thankful for this camera!! The rescue dog who rescued me (!!) 8 years ago has torn the ligaments in both back legs. While waiting on a consult with a surgeon, I have been so worried about leaving sweet Sally at home alone. When I realized that this outdoor camera can also be used inside, I was excited to see if it would help. I can now keep an eye on Sally all day while I am at work. I receive a notification when there is movement, and I am able to make sure she is okay. I have not tried out the microphone for fear of scaring her and her two rescue brothers, but I certainly have that option if I am concerned and want to voice a command or otherwise communicate. Bottom line? This camera has saved the day, works inside or outside, and has been completely simple to operate. The app is user friendly, too . I could not be happier! ... show more

This thing is impressive! I have other cameras from another manufacturer that also have AI, in that they recognize vehicles and people, but this Dzees camera is at a whole different level. Not only does it recognize vehicles and people, but pets also and if a package was delivered. I've been getting notifications such as "Person wandering around", "vehicle leaving", "parked vehicle", "A pet passing by", and just today there was a new notification along with a zoomed in picture of my vehicle asking: "Do you recognize this vehicle? Yes/No". This camera's analytical capabilities are amazing. Great programming. One thing I should mention is that I am currently on a 30 day trial which unlocks the camera's AI functionality, and after the 30 day trial it's $2.99 per month. If one chooses not to subscribe the camera still works fine and notifies you of any movement, but does not analyze the movement to let you know whether it's a vehicle, person, pet or package. I'm pretty sure I will subscribe after my 30 days are up. It really seems worth the extra benefit. I may even get a 2nd camera I'm so impressed. The tilt and pan of this camera are pretty quick and the picture quality is excellent both during the day and at night. It senses motion up to 25-30 ft away, and once motion sensing has been triggered its AI seems to recognize things even beyond its motion sensing range. I currently have a security system at my home which has 4 HD cameras attached to it, however they are fixed cameras that do not move. I decided to give this little camera a try and absolutely loved it. Not only the fact that you can move it 360° but it's genuinely a good well built, and great performing camera. To say the least I was very impressed with it, so much so that I recently ordered a 2nd camera. I am a big reviews guy and this camera has received good ratings. And while I like to read reviews I usually don't have much time to write them but felt this may help someone decide as it has helped me. I have also heard that the customer service team is great to deal with and very responsive to their customer support. Hopefully I will not have the need to reach out to them but these days it's nice to know that folks actually stand behind their products. ... show more

This is the second DZees outdoor cam I have set up and used. This is the 2k rotating cam. So far, so good. The cam connected immediately with our WiFi and the app. Images are good day or night and motion detection works well. I am using the iOS app version. It is simple to use and does not require sending images to the Web unless you choose to use their cloud features. Alerts to your phone are delivered promptly. This cam allows real time viewing. You have nearly 360-degree views available with responsive rotation up and down as well as side to side. The battery life appears to be very long, indeed. The level has barely dropped in the weeks since I installed it. The only complaint is with the mounting screws. They are very soft and will strip the head regardless of the driver used. Swap them immediately and avoid using bad language. Overall, I highly recommend this cam, especially for the price. ... show more
