Bought 2 of these for my sons (8 and 10) for Xmas. Not wanting them to sit in a box for 3 months to find an issue with them I got them both unboxed, assembled and running. My wife and I have 2wd ebikes with over 2000w of power... but these little things are on-par with the big bikes as far as build quality. The versions of the C3 we got seem to be the V2. Headlight in the handlebars, integrated rear rack, small light on the rear fender, speedometer and 4 speed levels. I'm 240lbs and these things have no problem pulling me around on a flat surface. Top speed for me is around 18mph, but I'm sure my kids will hit 20 no problem. So far, very happy with them and can't wait to see my kids open them up on Xmas morning! One note... the chain is super tight making it hard to pedal. Recommend loosening the chain a bit to allow for smoother pedaling and less wear and rear. The brakes are also very loose... check them before riding and take all of the slack out of the cables with the adjustment barrels before riding. Once adjusted properly they work great! 5 stars on quality 5 stars on speed 5 stars on features 4 stars on initial setup (especially if youre not mechanically inclined)

I bought this e-bike for my 70 year old father as his gift. He doesn’t know how to drive a car so his way of going around is limited. He had a regular bike but he can bike to places further than 30 minutes because it will make him tired. He needs an electric bike to pick up a few groceries and go pick up his medicine from a pharmacy from day to day. I was browsing online and I chose this one. The price is reasonable, not too high for a good quality bike. He put up the bike together in 30 minutes. It is easy to install. It comes with tools you need. It is also easy to ride as my dad described. He got a grasp of it on the first try inside our gated neighborhood. The weight of the bike is around 50 pounds. You will need to charge it when there is two lights on the indicator. The fact or limitation I have to tell is that 1, the battery can’t be removed. So not good if you want to get if off and charge it inside house. 2, the front wheel can’t be adjusted. You can only adjust the seat height. So it is better to buy a small one if you are not confident about your riding. We are still testing the battery life and will update after a few months or so. Taken together, it is a reasonable electric bike. My dad gets more freedom to go around with it. It makes his life easier. Easy to assemble, easy to ride.

Barely one year and not many miles and the bike has already failed. Something electrical has occurred where the brake/electric motor is stuck and locked. The bike won't move forward! I tried to access the batter and try to reboot/unplug the battery to get it to reset, but the rear brake is still engaged.

Bike arrived promptly, instructions for assembly were ok. Brake light came dangling and not screwed on but that’s an easy fix. A little miss leading in the description. The bike is all throttle or all pedal assist. Have not found a way to change the pedal assist on and off and instructions provided do not explain this at all. Otherwise a great little bike, will still serve its purpose. Just wish the 3 levels was explained clearly or worked.

I’ll say what I disliked with the last DYU bike that I had is the first day I rode it the brakes did not work. I had to adjust the brakes maybe about three or four times the handlebars they kept twisting the whole time I was riding it and there was a considerable amount of rust inside of the front tire. and the disc brakes they would scrape like crazy the whole time I was riding it so fast-forward to now DYU sent me a new bike and they corrected all of the problems. I took the bike on a very long bike ride. I mean, I put the bike through the test and it held up. Everything is perfect now on the bike. I really love it. I use the bike for recreational purposes just to have a little fun get out of the house maybe even use it to ride to work, but DYU corrected the problem and I am very satisfied with the bike. I’m sorry about the last review but I just want to make sure that you knew that that bike wasn’t safe but now this bike is if you ever need a product tester, I’m your guy because I will test the heck out of a bike to see that if it’s safe before you sell the bike to anyone again I apologize for the last review.❤️
