    • With Dyson Vacuuming is Not a Chore Anymore
Style: V8
I LOVE MY DYSON! I avoided buying one for so long because I thought it was too expensive. Plus, when Dyson vacuums came out, they were quite the trendy item to get. I bought this one from the Amazon Warehouse, like-new with an excellent price for me. First thing, when I vacuumed my carpet I noticed the fine dust particles in the canister. The vacuum was REALLY suctioning up the dirt!!! It's lightweight and easy to manage, the accessories are very versatile to use for using near the ceiling (spider webs), or under my bed. LOVE it that the joints allow the long beater brush attachment to extend under the bed. That's a solid winner for me! It's portable, small footprint (tucks away in a small closet), and the motor easily adapts for vacuuming the car too. So far the battery is holding the charge pretty well after extensive use. I'm very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

    • Great job
Style: V8
I’m getting old and we just went from carpet to flooring so this vacuum has been perfect for me. It’s not too heavy and yet does an excellent job of flooring and furniture. I use maximum strength on the carpet we do have and it works great for that but does use up the battery faster.

    • Life Changing and so satisfying
Style: V8
One of the best investments I’ve purchased recently. It’s super light weight, suction is out of this world, the air feels so much cleaner after one use and it’s extremely easy to dump. Also super satisfying to see how much it gathers in a short amount of time. At first I wished the battery life lasted longer, but that was because I had it on turbo the whole time. But I’ve learned when I need to use turbo vs not and I’ll switch h back in forth (which is super easy) and it will last for the full upstairs and the steps and some of downstairs before it needs charged again. I have a 2,500 square foot home. I also have 2 motorized vacuums in my house, but there is nothing like a Dyson! It just does the job so much better, especially on carpet. I also have a golden retriever that sheds a ton, and a cat! So I love all the different attachments to clean everything, but just the floor. Totally worth the money! And the fact that it’s cordless and light weight makes it so easy to clean! ... show more

    • What a JOKE of a vacuum!😂🤣😂
Style: V8
What a JOKE of a vacuum. It's like having a TOY model. It barely has any suction for the publicity it gets for being a "GREAT" product. One would have to think they have a genius marketing department as the product itself it a total disappointment. It barely cleaned the dust off of my overhead fan. I ended up having to get up on a ladder and wiping it down by hand to get the job done. I've heard everyone speak to how "AMAZING" this product is, I guess their standards are far less than mine. I have a 20 year old Meile vacuum that I had hoped to replace this with for ease, but at this point I'm keeping the Meile as it actually has suction power to get the job done. I have a house with tile and hardwood floors, I just wanted it to be an easy thing to do quick cleanups. Personally, I have more success with a broom and a dustpan than this overpriced TOY. If this is the quality of DYSON, it's a major disappointment. The only real benefit I found is that it's quiet when it operates and that's about it. Guarantee you that I'm sending this one back. I paid 299.95 for this on Black Friday, and now see online that one USED at Amazon is the same price. So guess I'm the SUCKER for making the purchase. ... show more

    • Be prepared to modify
Style: V8
I purchased this vacuum for my hair salon. I was looking for a cordless option, lightweight, and very powerful. I've had this vacuum for just over a month and here's the pros and cons. Pros. It REALLY sucks. It has a great suction to it, making vacuuming up rouge hair and dirt almost addictive. I like how it comes apart to empty the dust collection, and I really think it's designed to be lightweight- although I'll come back to that in the cons. I love the option to hang it on the wall for storage and charging(this is NOT a free standing vacuum)- will circle back to that in the cons as well! .It comes with 3 different attachment that are easy to change. They are on the smaller side, but honestly I like them for vacuuming out the furnace vent cover, or getting hair out of the salon chairs/dryer chairs. I also like to use it for a quick vacuum in the vehicles when they are looking gross. Now for the Cons. The biggest, most frustrating part of this vacuum is the dang battery life. Upon initial purchase, I fully charged the vacuum. I was very patient with making sure it was charged so I could get an idea of battery life. Boy was I so disappointed. The battery barely lasted for 1/4th of the salon. And I'm not vacuuming up piles of hair. This is for once a week use, maybe touchup on the waiting area use. I'm not dilly dallying around vacuuming. Ixm there to clean and move on woth my lifem The original battery is terrible. Fortunately they make battery adapters for RIDGED and Ryobi batteries. I purchased one for the RIDGED off of Ebay. With that i still have to use a HuGE battery for it, which adds to the weight, and now with the new battery adaptor it will not hang on the cute charging/storage hanger. The trigger is also one that has to be manually held, so their is some fatigue after doing the entire salon. With all of this being said, I do love it (with the adapter and large battery) for the salon. It does a great job, but please be ready to make some modifications if you do decide to purchase this vacuum. ... show more

    • Great Cordless but short battery life.
Style: V8
I really love my Dyson. But two glaring mistakes stick out with this one. First, the battery dies FAST! We thought it was too fast and even had Dyson send us a replacement- nope. Just dies fast is all. You'll get about 30 minutes on reg power and about 15 on high. Then, it takes like 3 hours to charge. Second? The design of the wall hanger is weird. Every time we hang up to charge we have to really give it a good push and it's gotten to the point that tie cord is now permanently bent. Hopefully we dont meed to replace in a year. Other than that, the suction is SUPERIOR to anything else on the market, which is I guess what we pay for. So, I'm still happy I bought it, but a longer battery life and less charging time would definitely be helpful. ... show more

    • The only one for pet owners
Style: V8
This is my second Dyson in a different home; my first is a V6 that still works like new. I have tried all other vacuums; if you have dogs, nothing compares to Dyson's performance. I also have robots, but robots take a while to clean and need babysitting. With the Dyson, it is quick and easy. Do not waste your money; go for what works. As mentioned before, this is my second one, but the V6 I previously purchased is 10 years old, and I have replaced the battery once. This particular version has an exceptional attachment for hair removal that will remove even the most stubborn hair from surfaces. I carry my dog in the back of my car, and the hair sticks to the carpeted walls. I used this attachment to clean the wall as if I were cleaning a bare floor. The vacuum will not disappoint you. I can also use regular deodorant tablets on the filter to prevent foul odors. ... show more
