Description

The ADJ VF1600 is a 1500W mobile DMX Fog Machine that is great for mobile entertainers, larger nightclub and bars, stages, churches, bowling centers and special effects productions that want to add atmosphere to their events, plus it allows people to see the beams from the lighting fixtures. The VF1600 is equipped with a high efficiency heater that quickly burns through the fog liquid. It comes with a 2.3 liter fog fluid tank, has a fog fluid level indicator and uses water-bases fog fluid. Advanced features include: DMX control, Electronic Thermo Sensing (ETS) for optimum heating levels, and a low fog fluid shut off sensor to protect the pump. The VF1600 comes with two remotes: the VFWR2 wireless remote and the VFTR Timer Remote.

I was skeptical with the reviews for this item. Wasn't sure how well it would work or if it would last. Item is beefy and sturdy. Worked extremely well for Halloween. I was very impressed. I'll use it again for birthdays. We'll see how well it does in a couple months. I'd say it's worth the money so far. It puts off a lot of smoke plus you can control how often and how much smoke it let's out. The remote works good. I had had the whole yard and street filled with smoke. This would get a 5 out of 5 but it did not work out of the box.... No where online or in the manual says you have to prime the pump but last 2 ADJ Items I bought did not pump till I pushed fluid through the line with a marinade syringe.. only after that did id start sucking fluid from the tank.. Once smokin and pulling fluid they seem to work fine... Lots of Fog! Maybe I'll have to update but works great after priming the pump and making it work... ... show more

This year, replaced one of my Halloween fog machines bought at Spirit for this device. In one word, 'Awesome'. It puts out a huge amount of fog for a front yard haunt, and I love the fact that I was able to change the amound of fog flow, and not just the timing of the fog. I used the wired control this year and it works great, and played around a little with the wireless remote. Next year I will hook it up to my lighting system to control it with DMX. The liquid reservoir holds enough juice for running it several hours. I will have to change my fog chiller design to take the amount of fog into account for next year. ... show more

This thing works great. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that the fog nozzle wasn't aligned to the case. The fog jet kept hitting the nozzle guard which deflected half the fog back into the unit. ADJ wanted me to ship the unit back to them, but a quick adjustment with a screwdriver solved the problem. Guess ADJ needs to actually test units before they send them out. ... show more

I like the volume of fog. Outstanding! I don't like the manual. I am using the machine with Light-o-Rama software as a controller. Information on setting the channel numbers using the dip switches could use a reference to an on-line calculator for assistance. Also, unlike other manufacturers, there is no information on what values turn the fog on and off. DMX controllers want a value between 1 and 255. I suspect it's something like 0-10 turn fog off and 11-255 turn it on. ... show more

I used this for my Halloween graveyard scene. Used a garbage can fog chiller and sent it through 20 feet of perforated 4 inch drain pipe and it covered my front yard with awesome low level fog, continuously all night. Can't wait for next year. Fog machine performed flawlessly.
