    • Love this vacuum!
I used to have a regular dyson slim and loved how easy it was to use. When it finally died we got the regular dyson and I never liked it as much. The main reason was because the wand was such a pain to get out and put back in once it was out, so I never used it. When it finally bit the dust I decided to try the animal slim in hopes that the wand would come out with ease. Yes it does, and it goes back just as easily!!!! The canister is smaller, and the length of the cord is shorter, but by the time I need to move to a different plug I probably need to dump the canister....so it all works out. I've had the animal slim only 2 weeks and so far I love it! ... show more

    • Great suction for upright
When using the regular vacuum as an upright it is fantastic. I do however feel it loses much of the suction when using the attachments. Regardless, I still highly recommend if you have pets!

    • A 90 year old can use with ease and does it capture the finest dirt
Years ago I worked for a company that would buy vacuums in bulk for mNy facilities around the world. This unit can get suck up the finest dirt which alone makes the vacuum stand out. Some criticize the vacuum but the unit is very light weight which is a plus. My mom is 90 years old and she said it was very easy to use. I teated on both carpet and hard floors and it amazing—-each room picks up more than ever expected. What does that mean. In the air many vacuums have suction that is a lot but often times cheaper vacuums stir up small particles in the air and not in the canister of dirt in the vacuum. That equates to cleaner air and less dusting. Great unit quick and easy to use even if you are 90 years old ... show more

I upgraded from my old Dyson DC33. This model is by far superior. I love this vacuum. Strong suction. Easy to push and maneuver around furniture. Assembly after removing it from the box is really easy. Minor complaints: You cannot tip it back to roll it from one area to another. It falls out of the upright locked position when tipped back. You have to pick it up and carry it. The cord is shorter than the DC33 by almost 10 feet. ... show more

Dyson has a great product. Good auction and easy to use. But they shortened the electrical cord and I hate that part.
