Couldn't find a V8 motorhead on Amazon and Dyson was out of stock for a few weeks. Took a chance on this V7 version. This unit fits the Dyson V8, although it's slightly different. Main difference is that back edge used a felt strip (subject to wear) instead of a vinyl strip, which last longer. Other than that, there's no difference. If you're in a pinch, this motorhead is compatible and at a good price. ... show more

Mine was very worn and beat up after 5 years of use. Dyson is still going strong so a new head was perfect to make it more efficient!
