It takes it little time to heat a 20 x 10 room, but once the room is warm (about 10-15 minutes) it stays nice and toasty. I like the magnetic remote and thermostat. While I hate how expensive Dyson products are, this cool/hot fan works great. In fact, this is now the second one I've bought (it will be used in another room), so I guess that's a clear sign that I think it's worth the price. It looks sleek and is really quiet vs. standard fans.

Product is small in size. Would have liked it to be a little taller but excellent size for a small home. It doesn’t take up much room. Very little noise. Safe for little hands! Not worried about my child touching and getting burnt as it doesn’t get hot. Many options for heating and remote is a plus!

I've bought three of these units, but only one has come straight out of the box without any problems. Second one's remote didn't work (not battery related) so I had to buy a new remote to use the unit. The latest one's fan sounded like it was hitting something inside the unit, so it had to be returned. When they do work, they are amazing: great temperature control, and absolutely whisper quiet. But dang, their quality control is nowhere near their design/marketing prowess. Pity... at these prices, the thing should come out of the box ready to work. ... show more
