I needed a replacement after an accident involving a lot of stairs and a very hard impact destroyed my vacuum - I was skeptical with a refurbished Dyson from an unknown seller. I did not know who refurbished it, I didn't know what to really expect. This was a one day delivery, it arrived on time, I opened the box and found what appears to be a brand new machine, with all new attachments, also in the box was documentation on the refurbishment of the vacuum - I was able to go to the Dyson site and register this vacuum for a 6 month full warrantee through Dyson. WOW! I just had no idea of all that I would be getting and I am as surprised as I am happy with this purchase. So that you don't have the sinking feeling and a lot of questions I hope this helps. I assembled the vacuum out of the box and went to vacuum and when I started using the swivel head it would not suck up anything. I disassembled the vacuum little by little until I found the obstruction which was an entire pen and pet hair conpletly blocking the hose. I removed the obstruction and it worked fine after that. My suggestion is when you are selling refurbished equipment do a THOROUGH examination of all the hoses and do a complete mechanical inspection. ... show more

One of the wheels was broken off in a separate bag. The vacuum was inoperable. Returned the next day. Very disappointing.
