Wife approved. She kept the pink one.
Color: Complete Diffuse for Curly to Coily Hair...
This is the same handle as the Straight+Wavy kit but with different attachments. I bought it. She used it. Curly to coily hair. The same hair that usually gets a dryer, a diffuser, and then a complaint about frizz or shrinkage. Performance is the first thing she noticed. Faster dry. Stronger wrap on the barrel. More air than the older Airwraps we have used. This kit drops the small barrel and the Air straightener and puts in a Wave+Curl diffuser and a Tension comb instead. The diffuser is the piece she did not expect to care about and now uses. Dome on, it defines her pattern instead of blowing it apart. Flip it and it adds volume. The Tension comb is the other one. Side bristles down and it stretches and smooths when she wants it straighter. Not a hot-plate iron. Air and tension. One or two passes from damp and the hair is smoother than the old paddle ever got it. Curls from the 1.6 inch barrel hold without that fried smell. Ease of use is better than she expected from a $750 hair tool. Attachments click on. The machine remembers the last heat and airflow for each one. App is there if she wants a hair profile. She tried it once and then just used the handle. She is not fighting the tool the way she fought cheaper multi-stylers. No two-handed dryer and brush routine. Pick an attachment and go. I have been in Dyson products for a long time. Started with a DC17 Animal about twenty years ago. Then more vacuums after that. I still think James Dyson did civilians a favor when he dragged bagless machines into the mainstream. The old vacuum companies were happy to sell you a bag forever. He made that racket look as stupid as it was. Same company later showed up in hair tools. Supersonic. Airwrap. Airstrait. We have used more than one of those. More recently the Chitosan pre-style cream and post-style serum, which she will put on before this thing because Dyson tells you to and because it actually helps the style last. This Co-anda 2x is the current end of that line. New motor. More air. Attachments that do not fit the old Airwrap, which is annoying if you already own a drawer of barrels. If you do not, it does not matter. It is $750. That is Dyson money. Value for money on this one is the same test as the vacuums. If it sits in the drawer it is a bad buy. She treats it like the tool she reaches for instead of a dryer plus a diffuser plus a comb. For her hair, that is the test. It passed. Good value if you will actually use it. ... show more

A Noticeable Upgrade Over My Airwrap i.d.
Color: Complete Diffuse for Curly to Coily Hair...
I already owned the Airwrap i.d., so I was really curious whether the new Co-anda2x would actually feel like a meaningful upgrade or just a slightly refreshed version of the same tool. After using it, the difference is much more noticeable than I expected. The biggest improvement for me is the power. The Co-anda2x has much stronger airflow, and I can feel that immediately when I am drying and styling. My hair gets from wet to styling-ready faster, and the attachments feel more effective instead of me having to keep going over the same section. Since my hair is wavy, frizz-prone, and takes a little work to smooth, that extra airflow makes a real difference in how quickly I can get through my whole head. Curling is better too. The stronger Coanda effect grabs my hair more easily and wraps it tighter around the barrel. With the Airwrap i.d., I occasionally had to reposition a section or help guide the ends into place. This version feels more automatic. I bring the barrel close, the hair wraps quickly, and the curl forms more consistently. The curls also come out a little more defined for me. The new large round volumizing brush has become one of my favorite attachments. I can get a smoother, fuller blowout look without having to fight quite as much frizz, and the extra power helps give my roots more lift. This attachment especially makes the Co-anda2x feel closer to replacing a traditional blow dryer and round-brush setup. I still like the i.d. curl sequence and app integration. Once my hair profile is set up, the tool handles the timing, airflow, and heat sequence for me, so I am not constantly counting or guessing when to switch settings. The intelligent attachments also make the whole experience feel a little more seamless because they remember the settings I tend to use. My one frustration is that I really wish Dyson had made the attachments interchangeable with the Airwrap i.d. I already have Airwrap attachments that I like, and it would have been nice to carry them over instead of essentially starting a new attachment collection with a newer model. For me, the Co-anda2x feels like a real upgrade rather than a minor redesign. The faster drying, stronger airflow, easier wrapping, and improved brush performance are all things I notice during normal use. I still think the Airwrap i.d. is an excellent styler, but this version feels more powerful, faster, and a little easier to use from start to finish. ... show more

Practice, Practice, Practice
Color: Complete Diffuse for Curly to Coily Hair...
There is for sure a learning curve with this product. If you think you're going to take it out of the box and be able to use it right away without practice I wouldn't recommend that. I've used my fair share of hair products over the years and, mostly the curling wand, took me my whole head before I got the hang of it, mostly changing the direction and figuring out which side of the wand to start on before it switched to heat. I have straight hair past my shoulders and I will admit that the curl that it created was impressive but if you don't use product they don't hold as well as a standard curling iron, at least in my experience. I do really like the hair brush and the hair dryer. They work very well and my hair was nice and smooth and somehow looked longer. The attachments are easy to add and remove and they lock once they're installed. I do wish there was more information about what each attachment does and it would be awesome if they were labeled on each one. It is pretty much just as loud as my regular hair dryer, but I do have a pretty expensive hair dryer. I did really appreciate the app. I was able to connect the airwrap via bluetooth and add information about my hair and it taught me how to curl my hair which was really helpful. My only complaints so far are: - I wish I had noticed when I ordered and got the one with the straightener rather than the diffuser, make sure you order the right one - The cord is heavy. There is a box on the cord that wouldn't be a big deal for some people but my plug in is on my wall light fixture which means the cord has to hang down and it makes the dryer feel heavier than it would if that box could sit on a counter - As soon as I took mine out of the box there were marks on the handle that won't come off. It wouldn't be a huge deal but the for the price of this I would not have anticipated seeing that - The packaging seems excessive. Each piece was wrapped up, everything was wrapped in cardboard or fabric and yet my handle had marks on it- it was one of the only things that didn't come excessively packaged so maybe that's why ... show more

The only tool I need. It's literally perfect.
Color: Complete Diffuse for Curly to Coily Hair...
I cannot say enough good things about this Dyson Airwrap! I regularly use the dryer, curler, round blowout brush and tension brush, and every single one of those attachments is fantastic. Any one of them would make this worth considering, but having all in one tool makes it even better. I have long, mature, color-treated hair that's prone to breakage and frizz, so I'm pretty particular about what I use on it. All of these attachments are incredibly effective while still being gentle on my hair. The round brush gives me a beautiful blowout, the curler wand does a wonderful job doing curls both ways, and the tension brush has been especially helpful for smoothing everything out. I don't even need to use hair milk to tame my frizzies anymore! When changing out the parts of the blower attachments, they aren't too hot to touch so quick swapping is easy. The dryer alone is fantastic, it is now my go to dryer. It's as powerful as my old favorite is but has more speeds. And the cold shot is much faster on this one. This one is also much easier for me to hold. My hair looks smoother, feels better and is so much easier to style. The air wrap wand makes curling SO much easier. It's now easy to get those missed spots in the back and underneath. I just put the want up there and it does all the work. No more wrapping or sectioning with my other hand and hoping it works. It just does the work! I don't have to completely dry my hair anymore before straightening it. Now I just pop the round brush on it and dry and straighten/smooth it the rest of the way after mostly drying using the blow dryer. I could go on and on. It's just literally perfect. Yes, it's expensive, but considering how well all these attachments work & how powerful this is, I think it's worth every single penny. I absolutely LOVE it! ... show more

Cut my hair time from 25 min to 8 min- this is a BEAST in pink- conada airflow is very impressive
Color: Complete Diffuse for Curly to Coily Hair...
I have wanted to pick up a new hair dryer and a flat iron and a curling iron because my hot tools are almost 20 years old and well loved- an upgrade was needed. I got the curly version even though i have straight hair because i do like to dry my hair with a natural wave using a diffuser and I will pick up the flat iron attachment another time. This one tool is actually cheaper than the 3 tools I need to replace. This storage box takes up ALOT of space so be prepared to make some room by clearing out older hair tools/clutter.. good opportunity to donate for the holidays? This is a BEAST in pink clothing. My hair usually takes about 20-25 minutes to blow out and style. This blew out my hair in 8 minutes and there were ZERO flyaways and frizz.... I had a dyson hair dryer about 10 years ago and it was amazing and i would prob still have it but through no fault of it, it’s gone. This is 50x the power and versatility. The coanda air flow is AMAZING--- it is truly like nothing on the market. There is about a 25-45 min learning curve here between set up, new user expereince and getting used to the app- BUT you can pick up and go if you really want to-- but take a little time to learn all of the tips and tricks and it will save you time next time-- the app remembers for you!!! Amazing. Dry – Full hair dryer performance- no comment needed 25 min down to 8 min... Curl – Stronger Coanda airflow for defined curls-- shirley temple curls Wave – Create wavy styles- really nice beachy waves with just a spalsh of texture spray Shape – Volumize and shape your hair- I have never had so much volume, it looks like i have a wig or extensions Stretch – Straighten and smooth styles- ZERO frizz and flyaways, even the broke off hair lays down and obeys! Diffuse – For curly to coily hair textures OR when i add some product to my staright hair and scrunch it, the diffuser is awseome to help it look curly/wavy. ... show more

Didn’t think Airwrap could get any better, but it did!
Color: Complete Diffuse for Curly to Coily Hair...
The Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x Multi-Styler and Dryer is easily one of my favorite beauty tools. I don’t know how Dyson managed to make the Airwrap even better, but they did. I’ve used Dyson hair tools before, so my expectations were already extremely high, but this 2026 model feels faster, more powerful and even easier to use. I can go from wet hair to a finished style with one system instead of having a hair dryer, brushes and multiple hot tools spread across my bathroom counter. The airflow does so much of the work and I love being able to smooth, shape and curl my hair without feeling like I’m repeatedly frying it with extreme heat. The Curly+Coily set gives me plenty of options for controlling and styling texture and the attachments make it easy to completely change my look depending on what I want that day. The curls are probably still the most satisfying part because watching the hair wrap itself around the barrel never gets old, but I’m equally impressed with how smooth and polished I can get my hair. Even the little details feel incredibly well thought out, from changing attachments to adjusting the settings while I’m styling. And then there’s the Ceramic Pink and Rose Gold color, which is absolutely gorgeous in person and makes an already premium tool feel even more special. An Airwrap is definitely an investment, but this is one of those beauty products I use enough that I can genuinely appreciate what I’m paying for. Dyson took a tool I already thought was pretty hard to improve and gave me plenty of reasons to love this version even more. ... show more

Pricey, worth the splurge
Color: Complete Diffuse for Curly to Coily Hair...
I almost never curl or style my hair because I’ve always struggled with curling irons and other styling tools. I either can’t get the technique right or my hair ends up feeling dried out afterward. This Dyson Airwrap has completely changed that for me. Curling my hair is incredibly easy with the airflow doing most of the work, and the other attachments are just as straightforward to use. Yes, this is very expensive, but after using it, I genuinely think it is worth the splurge. The MyDyson app is especially helpful if you’re new to styling. It includes tutorials for different looks, and you can create a profile based on your hair so the styling guidance is more personalized. I found that much more useful than trying to figure everything out on my own. The storage case is beautiful and keeps the main attachments organized. My one small complaint is that the diffuser does not fit inside the case, which seems like an odd oversight at this price point. I also wish Dyson included a few more attachments considering the cost. For comparison, my daughter owns another popular multi-styler that costs a little less. After using both, I find the Dyson noticeably easier to use and better performing. Even my daughter prefers using the Dyson now. It makes your hair feel smoother, and not damaged. The noise is not terrible. If you rarely style your hair because traditional tools feel too difficult or frustrating, this is where I think the Airwrap really shines. It made styling feel approachable for me instead of like a chore. Pricey, absolutely—but this is one beauty tool I’m very glad I splurged on. ... show more

An impressive tool but definitely has a learning curve
Color: Complete Diffuse for Curly to Coily Hair...
This is an impressive multi-styler, and I absolutely love this rose gold color. It's a particularly pretty finish on an already very sleek-looking tool. The Airwrap Co-anda2x heats up quickly and has a surprisingly powerful dryer, so it makes a noticeable difference in how quickly I can dry and style my hair. I also really like how easy it is to swap between attachments. The click-on system is clever and makes changing tools quick and straightforward. The round brush and standard dryer are by far my most used tools, but there are a lot of different styling options included. To my slight chagrin, this isn't a magical solution for hair that doesn't naturally hold a curl. My hair still doesn't hold curls exceptionally well, so I don't get dramatically different results from what I can accomplish with much less expensive styling tools. I also find that some of the attachments take a little figuring out, and the tool can get quite hot with extended use. The handle becomes warm, and the weight of the handle combined with the cord can make prolonged styling somewhat tiring. It's definitely an expensive styling tool, so I'm not sure the results justify the price for everyone. For me, though, I do appreciate the speed, power, versatility, and overall quality, and this is a very nice tool to have if you plan to regularly use several different styling attachments. ... show more
