  • Perfect Wireless Adapter for a Powered Subwoofer
I've only had this for 2 days now, but this is amazing. I am using this for a 3rd subwoofer (The other 2 subwoofers are hard wired) I have on my Home Theater system and it works great. No latency to speak of. No sound issues. I am very impressed. Volume level and everything is about the same as when I had the subwoofer hard wired. I did re-calibrate my speakers to make sure all level were good between the 3 subwoofers, but that is expected. There are only 2 gripes I have; but they are minor and don't take away from the product. 1st: It would be better if they labeled TRANSMITTER and RECEIVER better on the units. When I first installed it, I accidentally put the receiver unit at my audio unit and the transmitter unit at the subwoofer. That obviously doesn't work having it backwards. I guess I was a little too excited and didn't read more carefully which unit said transmitter and which said receiver. 2nd: No where in the instructions does it say how to CHANGE the frequency from 5.8 ghz to 5.2 ghz. I have a very intensive wifi network and I did notice a small amount of interference with my network. It was small, but noticeable. No where could I find a switch or setting to change the units to 5.2 ghz. By default it connects on 5.8 ghz. And it pretty much auto connects out of the box, so I didn't have to do anything. But after a lot of research from people reviewing this item, I discovered that if you press AND HOLD the "Pair" button on the receiver unit, it will start blinking and then start blinking GREEN (Meaning 5.2 ghz). Then I press and held the "Pair" button on the transmitter and it too changed to GREEN (Meaning 5.2 ghz). So all is good now. I just wish they had this information in the instructions. I tested powering down the unit and when the power was restored, it stayed "GREEN" 5.2 ghz. So all in all, this is an excellent unit. My research shows that "internally" this unit is the exact same as the KEF KW1 wireless unit. Could be the 2 companies working together or getting it made from the same manufacturer. Either way, this unit works great; great price; lowest latency of all I have checked on. I should point out again, that I have only used this for a subwoofer. Technically it will work on ANY SPEAKER as long as it is a POWERED SPEAKER. So technically, you should be able to use it for surrounds or rears if you can't get wire there. But I can't comment on how good it will be. Specs say no problem with frequency response; but again I only use it for a subwoofer. I highly recommend it. If I run into any problems with this unit, I will definitely add a change to my review. ... show more

  • I wish I bought this year's ago
DYNASTY PROAUDIO WSA-5TR (Version 2) Wireless Subwoofer Speaker Kit works flawlessly as soon as hooked up. Forget wires to your Sub. Well worth the price. So other than the obvious reason of running wires why did I need this? This may be important for some. 10 years ago I built my home entertainment center around my Onkyo AV receiver. I built my 6.3 cu.ft Sub with a 12 inch Shiva driver and Dayton 500 watt plate amp. While the sub in a far corner away from the receiver I wired it by running an LFE cable up inside the wall (10 ft), 30 ft across the attic and dropped it down to the speaker (10ft). So 50 ft of cable was used. It did work and sounded great but every morning when I turned the system on the connection to the sub was gone. I got it back by removing the LFE cable connector to the sub and plugging it back in. It worked all day but each morning I had to again re-establish the sub connection. This went on through 2 more plate amps and two AV receivers over the next 8 years. With all these changes I felt it had to be the LFE cable but I was too old to go climbing back across the attic so lived with it. Then I learned about a line amplifier device. I thought maybe this could restore the signal strength at the end of the cable. Bought one from Amazon and hooked it up. Seemed to be doing its job as the signal adjustment knob would increase volume to the sub but the next morning the sub had again lost its signal and I had to again unplug and re-plug the cable to get it to work. Determined to solve this problem I learned of wireless Sub devices. I bought this unit, hooked it up and it immediately worked. So, only one more check. Would the Sub work in the morning. YES! Worked perfectly. Finally, an extremely easy solution. Maybe others with strange Sub signal issue will benefit from this information. ... show more

  • Plug and play. Wow. It just works. No fuss, no lag, no setup.
I have an extremely large SVS subwoofer I no longer use that I've had stored in a closet for years. No one even wants to take it off my hands for free due to it's size. Anyways, once I learned about this product I figured it'd let me get use of that subwoofer once again. And well it works perfectly! Had to run an outlet into the closet, but once that was handled, just plugged everything in as the instructions (and common sense) would have you do. I was expecting some pairing or setup but it comes from the factory already paired. Everything was up and running immediately. My closet sub is about 20 feet from my AV receiver and haven't had any signal loss issues. Haven't noticed any lag in the signal either. This thing just works, have zero negatives to report on it. Seems like the perfect solution to running a sub wirelessly. ... show more

  • Used product for full price, but is working okay in initial testing
Upon opening the package, it's clear that this was a returned item - perhaps the previous person didn't get it to work correctly in their environment etc. Regardless, it appears to be working correctly with my theater - getting clean buzz-free audio to my 2 rear subwoofers. Previously, I have had pro-grade cabling installed in my ceiling - and have also run a cable along the floor - and there is so much 60 hz noise picked up on those that it's annoying at low listening levels. Regardless - I'll update and add or remove stars as needed - but I did knock one star off for this being a pre-owned product. ... show more

  • Works without interfering with wifi
I can’t believe I did not buy this earlier. Very easy to connect and works well so far. The sound was a bit less than expected. My AV receiver enables me to increase the sub woofer volume and that did the trick.

  • They Work!
Both my subwoofers operate normally (using an additional WSA-5TR-V2 receiver) unlike the results with some other transmitter - receiver pairs that I have tried recently.
