So far, so good! Bought for my 12 year old son. He's 5'4" and it fits him perfectly. I got the 17" frame. Assembly wasn't too bad but no tools were included. Thankfully we had some on hand, but if you don't, you'll have to purchase ahead of time. You'll need a crescent wrench, 2 different size allen wrenches, and a Phillips head screwdriver, also get a bike pump. Tires had low air so we filled them up after assembly. Instructions weren't terrible but they had 2 variations of the bike in them, so it was hard to know which to follow. We did our best based off the pictures. My son really likes it so far but the gear shifters are really stiff and hard to turn. We'll see how it holds up! ... show more

I was hesitant when purchasing this bike because of some of the reviews, however my bike came packaged extremely well, the box was in great shape, I followed the direction on the side of the box to a T to actually get the bike out of the box. I put the bike together myself within an hr, most of it was done for me right out if the box. Just follow the instructions people. Then I took it on a 2 mile bike ride, it worked great! The gears are different than my old bike but I'll get used to that, and I had to adjust the breaks alittle , super easy with an Allen wrench ... over all I'm very happy with this bike. My only complaint... The seat is HORRIBLE and HURTS , but I bought gel cover so that should help ... show more

OK Hi there. Wow, double extra strong boxed shipping...Yet the front wheel still got through! Why ah ha... Although great boxes, the bike itself inside the box had no, none, nothing to keep it safe. All they did was to stuff the part in there with a few parts zip tied to the bike!!! Really!!! So I had 8 scratches and a warped front wheel. Contacting them, the form is ridiculous, not only does it only allow for one picture bit it;s very incomplete. Once they contact me back they certainly do not make it easy! They what absolute real proof of sale, serial #, other sticker #, pictures of everything even the assembled bike and I had to send a video of the warped wheel. After the OK waited 2 weeks for the new wheel. I do like the bike though:-) ... show more

We rode several trails in Pueblo CO, and later New Mexico, area right after getting this, and one other bike. Bike assembly was pretty straightforward if one knows a little something about how they go together, instructions were clear enough. The bike handled well, no issues at all. I had packed along a standard repair kit, but never used it. Never even got a flat tire after running over a number of rocks on the trail. The seat that comes with unit is uncomfortable. We considered changing it, but ended up getting a cushioned cover that was sufficient Happy with purchase. ... show more

I really wanted this bike to be great. It looked cool and I loved the color. It looks just like the picture but it showed up with a bent front rim for starters. They gave me a partial credit for that because they couldn't just send me a new front wheel they had to return and replace the entire bike. After I got that fixed I took it for a spin twice around the block. The first time the handle bars came loose so I tightened them back. Before taking it out of the driveway the second time I had to tighten the handle bars again and when I got back from around the block the handle bars had completely come loose. Not only from up and down but also left to right. They dont stay tight and the slightest bit of pull on them will loosen them. The seat was hard and uncomfortable and the kick stand barely holds the bike up. A somewhat breezy day will tip it over. Its probably fine for a young child. It just had a cheap feel to it when you ride it. The gear change is rough also. Not smooth. I returned it unfortunately and its taking 3 weeks to get the return even just to my Amazon account. Id say pass on this and get something a bit more expensive but solid construction. Dont judge the book by its cover like I did! ... show more

Not completely thrilled with this bike. The outer packaging of the shipping box was intact, however, once I got the bike out I noticed items that were damaged under the secure packaging. Makes me question the QC. The seat has a tear, there are some scrapes along the bike. Assembly was easy, however, once assembled it was clear it needed additional attention. I took it to a bike shop for a tune up and found a large amount of adjustments needed to be performed. The shifter was bent. The spokes on the rim on each tire needed adjusting. The brakes needed to be completely recalibrated. The brake cables needed tightening. The gear cables needed tightening. Every attachment/screw/nut/bolt needed significant tightening. After that additional out of pocket expense the bike is now in decent shape and ready for use. ... show more
