  • Excellent read
This book had a great characters and storyline. It was hard to put down once I started reading it. Boyd is a great author and this is up there as one of my favorite books of his.

  • Need more of Yuri and Bitsy!
Stumbled across this while looking for something to read, and I'm glad I did! Not hung up on the language or the scientific inaccuracies (as well as of government agencies) - the author admits that wasn't what he was focused on - just the story. If you take it as such, it is a very entertaining read. Take a fashion risk and at least KU it to see if it is your cup of tea...You might fly and find a new author to follow. (Check out Boyd Lee - same author, different genre - excellent series.) ... show more

  • Good guys do bad stuff sometimes
Different way of looking at people who need to get things done. Agent fights bad guys...with bullets and brains. Swearing was a little over the top for me,but once again a great story. Heart of gold, fighting for right.

  • Wow. You need to get this one - like, now.
I read a lot, probably 2-300 books a year. This one is easily in the top 3. Boyd Craven, you need to have fun and explore these characters more - a lot more! I hope you sell a gazillion of this one, and I bet you do. What a fun book! It reminds me of Lois McMaster Bujold’s tour-de-force with Miles Vorkosigan and company. And as for the potential new readers? Just buy it and relax - you’re in good hands. ... show more

  • Loved it, need a book 2 and 3!
Great new book! Like all of Boyd's stories, it's well written and interesting (a few typos like ordinance vs ordnance). This is a dark new book, James Bond meets Dexter via Gru, and I hope we get to see more in the series.

  • Good Read
Really liked this, have read many other stories by this author and this one has a different plot line and good characters. Would love to see a sequel.

  • Great Book!
Really enjoyed the first book and hope you make it into a series. The characters were well developed and I loved the riff on the evil mad genius and his minions!

  • Unnecessary F Bombs
Story line and characters were interesting! I finally got tired of the unnecessary F Bombs being tossed into the dialogue.
