This took me more than 3 hours to assemble. It involves many bolts and nuts that require carefully holding the bolt with a mini-wrench, while tightening the nut with another mini-wrench. This I found to be very difficult and time consuming. Where it could reach, I opted to use an adjustable, locking wrench, which made it much quicker and easier. But I couldn't reach some of the nuts with the bigger wrench. Aside from the time and effort required, the assembly was fairly simple to understand and do correctly. I only made one mistake which was easily fixed. My biggest concern is how it will hold up on a windy day. If I know it's going to be windy, I'll probably have to lay it down. It seemed relatively easy to tip even with the base filled with water. I added some paver stones, which you can see in my photo, that made it much more stable. Knocking off one star for the time and labor intensive assembly. But it seems like a solid goal. I do also have concerns about the plastic wheels and how much they can hold up to rolling this across pavement, especially when the base is weighted. As an added bonus, I swished the first shot I took, from about the spot where the photo was taken. ... show more

This is a great size basketball. Got it on sale so it was a nice price. Hardest part was putting it together. Need 2 people at least. Pay attention to the directions and don’t skip ahead on the instructions. Overall my husband and kids love it. We needed a hoop for our new house and this is perfect! It's solid quality and was pretty easy to get together. It's easily adjustable and lots of fun. It's survived cold cold weather and some hard throws at the backboard. It even tipped over and didn't break or crack anything so that's a bonus.
