Good so far. It is a bit heavy, so make sure who ever is going to move it around is able to do so. The wheels are great, but if you have to lift it up stairs to get to another floor, it may be a bit difficult for some people.

My first unit was a dud that worked for one day. I did email the company and they offered me a new controller which houses the battery. I told them I was measuring 16.85 volts DC off the controller leads so most likely a loose wire at the motor or a dead motor unit. I ended up reordering a new unit and am returning the no functioning one. It does seem well made and is basically a motor that turns a rod that turns a sprocket on each side of the seat with a chain that goes around a sprocket at the seat bottom that raises and lowers it with limit switches. Really not overly complex and other than questioning the motor quality the unit seems very well made. The new unit so far is operating as it should.

Yes it's heavy, so the person who needs it should have help setting it up and in place. Make sure it's near an outlet for easy charging when needed (although it does seem to hold a good charge.) When we first tried it, he said it was soooooooooooo slow and seemed impatient to have it go up and down. But when it came to the first occasion of actually needing it, wow did it work (and I didn't hear any complaints!!) A person does need to be able to maneuver themself into the seat, so it is not helpful to anyone without that mobility or who is suspected of breaking something, but for someone with general weakness (an inability to pull oneself up from the floor) it's wonderful. So glad we got this. It saved a call to 911 and another trip to the ER. He now calls it his 'insurance policy'. :-)

It is perfect!! My mom fell 12 hours after my brother in law assembled the lift!! I was hesitant to use it alone because he was with me when we " tried it out"... I ran to get the chair, wheeled it as close as I could to my mom and she scooted onto the chair, I strapped her in and raised her up with no problem at all...I don't know how long the charge lasts because I charge it as soon as I was done using it to make sure it has a charge in for when I need it! 💯% worth the money!

Works great! It helped me get my husband up out of the floor when he fell in just a few minutes instead of having to wait for someone to come help or having to call the squad to come pick him up. I only wish we had this a year ago when he first got sick. He's fallen so many times in the last year that this would have been a HUGE help had we known it even existed! Highly recommend!

We are so pleased with this chair. We can't lift each other up any more so this is great for us. Simple to handle. Goes up slowly. One person can do it themselves. Would highly recommend this to those who have trouble getting off the floor.

2 wheels is very dangerous especially trying to wheel a 200lb man I am returning and ordering the 4 wheels however, the lift works great its just transporting the human to a bed or chair is totally dangerous on 2 wheels
