I had lights on the front of my house that were attached to a timer. Unfortunately, I had to adjust the timer to account for different times that the sun comes up and sets throughout the year, so I was changing the timer four times per year. I decided to use these lights partially because they have a dusk to dawn feature, but they are also very attractive. Installation is very easy; they include a wall mounting bracket that easily mounted to the wall box. Once the bracket was installed, the electrical connections were easy to make (wire nuts are included) and the light fixture slipped right over the bolts. I did have to adjust how far out the bolts stick just a bit, but it was very easy to do. (Remember to turn off the circuit breaker if you install these yourself.) I am using 8W / 2700K LED Edison bulbs and they look quite nice. The 8W bulb LED bulbs put out plenty of light to illuminate the front of my house. ... show more

So I had my maintenance guy put up my lights we put one at the front door which works fine, but when we put the second light by the patio all it does is stay on for 10 seconds then flickers and then stays on again and repeats. I know it’s a sensor issue because when I put my finger on top of the sensor that stays on but when I remove my finger it starts flickering again. I’m kind of trying to understand why this light has so many stars and good reviews. ... show more
