Need to assemble, but they seem to work. The wires are easily inserted into the plastic base. I used silicone adhesive to install the spikes, but it came with some zip ties and screws to install it that way if you so choose. Nothing extremely remarkable, but they are as pictured and seem functional. Pay attention to how much length they cover.

Just as described! I’m looking forward to not having to clean up bird waste in my outdoor sanctuary. I put mine up on stucco using some nano tape in case I needed to reposition, but it’s working well so I’m going to leave it there. Easy to assemble. I was worried I would stab myself, but the metal bits are not sharpened and are easy to bend in whatever direction. Happy with them!

Actually works for the intended use. Every single spring, birds want to use my porch light as the perfect spot for building their nest. I feel terrible because every time we open the front door it disturbs them. Not to mention I turn the porch light on every night. I ordered these right when I saw they were starting to build a nest again. Not only did it work, it's really not an eye sore at all, it's small enough to wear you don't even notice it being there. The sticky's that came with it were sufficient to hold them, lightweight and durable.

Prongs are made from a "springy" metal, but are easy to use. Units holding prongs are short ... so ... easy to configure. Will make a spot undesirable to land or park ... but will not harm a bird or other creature.
