The media could not be loaded. Used this to separate the tie rod end on a 5th gen Subaru Outback with 122K on the odometer. After 8 years in the rust belt this tool saved me from having to cut, beat, or pry, the tie rods off the car. No need for a pickle fork that will certainly damage the bushings. This might work on other vehicles, but it does not work on a Ford fusion. A total waste.

It is a pretty heavy duty separator. I reduced the stars due to the finishing process of the casting. It just isn't finished well. Otherwise it is a decent tool. The bolt is heavy duty and well machined.

First impression: Wow, this is heavy! It appears well built and should last a long time with a little care. I recommend adding a little grease to the screw threads and hinge pin. It has two different hinge setting for larger or smaller openings. This will be great for pushing ball joints out of control arms. ... show more

Simple ball joint tool, its not for really big ball joints but great for smaller vehicles or atvs etc. Seems to be well made and worked great for my Subaru ball joint. For the price its pretty good to have in the tool box.

It separate the ball joint on my truck and feels heavy duty and well made. It’s much heavier than I expected but that’s a good thing. Feels like solid material.
