I'll be updating this further more on whether I return it or test hatching out eggs in this incubator. But for even getting it set up was a pain. The assembly was perfectly easy but it was getting it up to humidity and temp that took the longest. Currently the room I'm in reads nearly 35-40% humidity (May be different for everyone else). But with even one bottle hooked up to it made it shoot up to 70s-80s. Took all the bottles off (mind you the water mess I made doing this as there's no easy mess-free way of getting them off), it was STILL way too high of humidity for chicks to have a chance at developing. I've resorted to poking holes on the sides of it because it rarely has proper ventilation (hope I get my return in that if I decide it doesn't work out). AND resorted to elevating the system with some thin lids to stop pulling so much water into the system (as seen in the picture). I know it tells me to specifically not do that but it becomes a problem when you can't control your humidity. It has no problem getting up to temp but man- something's got to be done about humidity control or you ain't getting anything alive from it. Like I said before, I will update this when I get it hopefully working (it's dropped significantly after I raised it) and maybe get a first hatch out of it. But so far- 3/10

We got this for our 8 year old daughter. It says it has a free e-book that you can download. So we get it put it together and go to get the e-book. There is no option for a book in English. The instruction book has English in it and I scanned the QR code on the page. Why don’t we get an English option for the e-book?

Temp does notnstay in set range. Desing for auto turn isnt well thought out. No humidity reader.
