The media could not be loaded. I was ignorant to the powers of a steam cleaner till I watched a random Amazon review of someone dissolving away years of goo from every surface of their home. They sold me on the product. I shopped and studied the machines and finally settled on this one. I started in the kitchen. My stove-top would invariably devolve into a mess-top of baked on grease, which had no hope of being removed without a hammer and a chisel. My options were to destroy the stainless steel surface by scrubbing or leave the grime residue for another day. After getting the steamer, within minutes of applying steam the grime and grit desolved and was wiped away with a towel, saving my stainless steel and making it sparkle again. I finally have an easy option for stove/oven management. I moved on to my tile floor. The grout on my floors had been stained since the day we moved into the house. I had washed and scrubbed to no avail. After a thirty minute cleaning session with this steamer, my grout looks better now than it ever has. I moved on to my windows. This is the area my children gather like puppies; with sticky fingers, greasy noses, and open slobbery mouths, they create a cloud of goo-art on the glass multiple times a day. I used the window attachment, followed by a polishing cloth. Within minutes the goo-art was gone and my windows were magnificently streak-free clean. I moved on to disinfecting my floors. The sticky jelly remnant from the day's lunch, the mystery substance that leaked from the trash bag, and the trail of foot-steps were steamed away within minutes. I've now cleaned cabinets, counters, sinks, refrigerator, microwave, toilets, showers, walls, doors, and molding, and have been impressed with the results all along the way. I have noticed that after a few uses the dupray steamer started dripping a bit at the beginning of the cleaning session. After a minute or two it stops. It hasn't been enough of a bother to cause me to be concerned with its performance. There were reviews which criticized the inability to read the water level. I made the frustrating mistake of starting a new cleaning cycle not knowing how much water was in the tank, only to have the machine tell me I was empty within 5 minutes of cleaning. I resolved this issue by emptying the tank before beginning each cleaning session and refilling it, so that I have an accurate measure of how long I can go while cleaning. It's not been a problem since then. I like the size of the tank. It allows me to clean for a good amount of time while still being easily portable. I love the results. This has been my favorite purchase in home cleaning products by far. ... show more

    • Such an amazing and useful tool
Like others who have posted, I live in an older home that seemed impossible to clean and keep clean. The first day I owned it I fired it up and cleaned my husband's recliner, which had grime on the arms. I was amazed at how easily that came off! Next I moved to my son's wall to wall carpeting, which has had stains that my green machine could never touch. Those came right out as well. Next, I moved to his shower, which was caked with soap scum and mold. Man does it look so much better now! Did the kitchen floor, and because this steamed the layer of "grunge" off, weeks later, it still feels so much cleaner than it did before. I had had to strip years of "mop & glo" off and this did amazing. So, I tried the kitchen cabinets. Those years of grunge are now stripped off. Next I steamed my bathroom floor, which was originally white tile and white grout. The grout has gone from grunge back to white! This floor is 25 years old! And finally, this week, my son got in a minor car accident and pushed in the plastic bumper of our Toyota Camry. I had heard about folks putting hot water on the bumper to soften the plastic to push it back out. Our Camry's 15 years old so rather than just replacing the bumper, I decided to try the steamer. I steamed the area just like the YouTube videos showed for using a heat gun, and my husband was able to push the bumper back into its original shape. This steamer is powerful, and inspiring, and has made my house super duper clean. Yes, it takes time and scrubbing, but the steam really does a number on sticky seemingly impossible grunge, so that you can take a microfiber cloth and wipe away after steaming and brushing. I did buy a large pack of microfiber cloths from Home Depot (25) which helps a lot when doing a large floor that is really dirty. I went through around 11 on my kitchen floor! After years of using a conventional mop and the embedded grime getting worse and worse; I tried this. Floor is now popping! Need to keep the old mop to take up the dirty water after steaming, but this really works wonders. Only gripe is the plastic wand. Would be great if had some metal internal structure as it feels a bit flimsy when getting some elbow grease on there, but the steam does most of the work so it’s fine. ... show more

The Power of Steam Is Life Changing! At some point in your life the saying “work harder will bring good results” and now having this “work smarter not harder” comes to mind. It’s pricey no doubt, but with every thing we’ve cleaned so far the return of investment and time spent doing these tedious tasks has been so addicting. The results are so amazing. It has been used to detail cars with awesome results, sterilized touch areas, carpets and is being used not just for our home but also to my parents and other siblings homes. Amazing on cleaning leathers, use conditioner or polish/protector once cleaned. Polish wood after sterilizing surfaces consider using distilled water to avoid residue from water for dark surfaces. Study how to use first! There is some resources out there for home use but a few older vlogs. A lot of car detailing vlogs you’ll literally will fall in love with your car again. Dupery has good basic tutorials. Once you have it down honestly you’ll be a professional and you might even think you can open up a business and capitalize on effectiveness of using steam. This unit can reach sterilization be cautious with materials and test out before going full force! I love being able my own cleaning cloths. I wished Duprey made clamps or added industrial rubber bands to help keep cloths attached to attachments for this price point. ... show more
