I'm extremely happy with the product. I ran it for 4 cycles upon receipt after washing it of course. then set it up and let it go. It is performing great. It takes about 30 minutes for the first batch of ten cubes, but it runs much faster batch after batch. I keep a container of filtered water out to refill the machine, which isn't often. I let the ice melt overnight with the machine off and then turn it on in the morning. This unit is my back up to my 35 years-old ice making top freezer fridge. Instead of constantly opening my freezer to get ice, I'll use this. It is economical to keep my fridge and freezer close through the day. The size is like an air fryer, and the ice comes out crystal clear. Teh basket is easy to place and remove, and I love the included scoop. should I need to drain the unit, there is a bottom secure plug. Do not buy! This is the second one I have purchased. I liked the product for the price but the first one stopped working after four months. there is no insurance plan or return available. I figured maybe I didn’t clean it well enough? I watched lots of videos and troubleshot, but to no avail. I bought another one because it was the best price and I figured maybe I got a faulty one. Nope. I bought this one on October 7 and the second one has already quit working. It continues to say “ice full” when there is no ice in the basket and the water reservoir is full. The first one broke within four months and now this one has broken in almost 2. We use only filtered water in it, and have made sure to take the best care. Don’t waste your money. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for our RV. It works pretty well for the price. It makes ice so quickly! We enjoy it. There’s a few things I wish were different- it doesn’t keep the ice cold for long so it melts and has to remake ice. When the ice maker runs, it’s pretty loud for such a small appliance. Fast, quiet, and I am SO happy to have this! I HAVE to have ice, and go through ice like water!     • Died with explosion like noises and shakes
This machine worked for a little over 4 months and died with loud noises and shakes that scared my employee and me. It was sitting on a clean surface with enough clearance around it. It just died and acted as if it was going to blow up. Very disappointing.
