This Dual-Sided RGBCW Floor Lamp took about five minutes to assemble. You just need to screw the pieces together and attach the adapter. It comes with a magnetic remote which can be attached to the lamp. That is a big plus for me, because we have so many remotes and they tend to get lost. There are also full controls on the stem of the lamp. The hardest part of the assembly process was finding the white light. I think the colors are fun, but they aren't something I will use. I just want regular light. The white light is very bright almost a bit purple so I didn't actually realize immediately that it was the white. It doesn't have any warmth to it so just be aware that the lamp is for brightness and any mood setting is with the color, not warmer white light. I would have preferred if it had a bunch of shades of regular light so I could make the light it a tiny bit warmer and less purple, but I'm very happy with the brightness. I like the simple design and I like that the base is relatively small so it fits nicely in a corner. The adapter is large and the cord is relatively short. ... show more

    • I wish the remote had frequency options.
The light works wonderfully, brighter than expected and the colored side is a lot of fun. If it were adjustable in hieght, it could even be used as photgraphy lighting. I found a way to remove a section and rewire it so that it's shorter but I can prop it up on a stool. My problem is with the remote. It activates other remote controlled lights in my set up, and vise versa, making 3 of my remotes useless. So with everything and the kitchen sink (litteraly) coming with a remote these days, a button that switches between a dozen different frequencies seems necessary at this point. ... show more
