This wireless camera is so easy to use. The simplest way to hook it up is with the included plug that plugs into the cigarette lighter. The plug has a built in switch with a dim light that lets you know it's on and has power. The camera itself has a strong magnetic base and a solar panel on top. After charging the camera, just turn it on and the monitor picks it right up. The monitor isn't touch screen, which would be nice, but it has a very good picture. The onscreen instructions are pretty easy to navigate. You can also get a second camera and have a split screen. I tested the unit to see how far away I could get before losing signal and this is what I found. My wife held the camera and kept it moving while I slowly drove away. It had a perfect picture for around 200 feet then I noticed a little fuzziness in the picture, not too noticeable. I kept driving about 10 MPH and it finally lost signal at about 500 feet. The last 150 feet it showed more distortion but it really wasn't that bad. I'm very pleased with the quality and wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

For the price I didn't expect much, but have been pleasantly surprised. This is a well-designed extremely useful tool. I have a camp-over camper and a boat trailer, as well as a fifth-wheel trailer. I've never had a backup camera with these, which has made backing up miserable. The outside mirrors aren't adequate, so even driving down the road in traffic has been a challenge at times. This unit has made a huge difference. It comes on automatically, mounts easily, and presents a high-def view. I was amazed when I took the camera unit and put it on my shop bench, then drove away from home with the screen still mounted to the truck window. The screen kept showing the view of the shop until I was 600 feet away! No worries about long RVs. Highly recommended.

Bought this as a gift. They ended up putting it on their enclosed trailer and loved it. Everything connected with no issues. Was super easy to install. The magnets make it easy to remove and store or switch between trailers but yet strong enough that there is no fear of the cameras falling off. Cameras stayed charged over the entire trip due to the solar power. Was easy to see in the night and day. Being able to switch between the camera view was nice since they didnt always need to see all the cameras at one time.

Wkzay did 2 very smart things to improve the wireless backup camera market: they integrated a 2nd camera AND they provided a super convenient way to extend the applicability of magnetic cameras! I’ll explain. Let’s be honest. It’s safer and more comfortable to have not only a camera on the back of your trailer for backing up, but also to have a 2nd camera in the back of your truck so you can attach to your trailer easier. I have a 5th wheel and through time, I have ended up buying 2 cameras to do just that! Well, Wkzay recognizes this need and has designed the Model R73 Dual RV Wireless Backup Camera. Frankly it is better than the system I have/had because the cameras come pre-paired. Wireless (no wire between camera and monitor) cameras can be confusing to “pair” the camera and monitor. So the frustration you save from not having to run wires and you can regain by having to deal with pairing issues! Wkzay’s new system comes ‘out of the box’ already seeing each other! Awesome!! The second thing Wkzay did was so simple…almost stupid simple…but it made all the difference in the world for someone like me. They simply added 2-sided tape in their install procedure. You’re thinking, ‘big woop, who cares’. Naw…magnetic cameras and new vehicles are not necessarily ‘attracted’ to each other. Aluminum body panels, modular bumpers and other weight saving aluminum trim help the car get better mileage. BUT MAGNETIC CAMERAS NEED STEEL TO ATTACH! (but maybe not…) Wkzay has appropriately added discrete steel plates, the size of the base of the camera, that can be screwed onto the vehicle, trailer, RV, etc. to open up installation locations. I’ve seen that with other quality brands as well. But Wkzay did something more, that I particularly love: they added 3M 2-sided tape the size of the steel plate so that I did not have to screw or drill into my vehicle! I now have a ton more places I can add a ‘magentic’ camera, and not only does it NOT have to be magnetic, but I DON’T have to screw something permanent onto my truck or RV. So, for example, the rubberized coating on the top of my 5th wheel, I can slap a camera up there and not only do I not have to run wires for power (solar powered camera) or run wires for video (wireless connectivity to monitor), but I also don’t even have to screw into my rig…potentially creating a leak!!! Simple 3M 2-sided tape. Brilliant! Thank you Wkzay!! All the other awesome stuff you probably read in other reviews are accurate: the clarity, the long distance between the camera and monitor, long battery life, large 7-inch screen, night vision, SD card compatible…I’m not going to spend time on that. I’m a simple guy, and the less things I have to do to get the best outcome is what I’m interested in. For that, I’m interested in and highly recommend the new Wkzay Model R73, DUAL Wireless Magnetic Backup Camera with 7 Inch Monitor!!

This wireless RV backup camera is exactly what I needed for my trailer setup. The installation was super easy, and the magnetic mount is surprisingly strong. The 7-inch screen is clear and bright, even in the sun. I also love that it can record and has four channels – I’m using it for my fifth wheel, but I could easily see this working for a camper or truck too. The solar charging is a nice bonus and keeps me from worrying about battery life on long trips. Highly recommend this camera if you’re looking for a reliable and hassle-free solution for your RV.

Great Back-Up Camera System. Before buying this, I looked up reviews for the many similar sounding systems that are offered on Amazon. I am glad I did my homework: this is a great set that ticks all the boxes: bright, detailed screen; great wireless communication, many mounting possibilities, including strong magnet. There are many ways to adjust guidelines on the screen so that using the system for backing up a trailer or getting into a tight parking, space, etc. are easy. I highly recommend this!
