These were just what I wanted! Colors are vibrant, size was perfect, easy to install since it has the metal circles at the top. I did have to return and repurchase because it's a 2 pack, which makes it a great value, but originally arrived as a single. They are definitely rooms darkening and blocks the light from coming in our sliding glass door and reflecting on the TV. I had complaints about how hot my guest room was and after falling asleep in there one night I realized why! The sun beats down on the window and heated the existing curtains. I needed curtains that would block the sunlight and stop the heat from warming the bodies. I bought these to test them out and they worked! It also helped keep the room cool all summer when the curtains were closed (we do not have central air). I would not say they are complete blackout curtains... but they are very close. These are great in our bedroom. They replaced white fabric-lined drapes which were a rod pocket type. Our window faces the street (bad design idea to have master bedroom @ front of house) and the street lights shined in my face all night. These don’t make the room completely black but they are so easy to pull closed they still block most of the light.
