The bag of beans came vacuum sealed it appeared, and the overall taste of them is good. Nothing too special in my opinion. This is definitely a dark roast, and because of that it makes preparing these beans for espresso much more difficult than a medium roast.

This coffee bean has great notes of chocolate and nuts! It's a bit bitter than your average french roast but i loved the bitterness and the bold taste notes. The coffee felt smooth drinking down and did not give me too much bad aftertaste, left me feeling good after eash sip!

I will drink any roasted coffee, dark or medium preferred. With that out of the way, if you like dark roast, you won't go wrong with this one. I like that even with it being dark roasted, I didn't get a burnt taste or too acidic. It actually tasted very good with some smoky aftertaste and surprisingly I got a little bit of sweet aromatics when brewing it with hot water. I like to use it for my morning black unsweetened cup because it has that kick that just wakes me up. I wouldn't drink it with breakfast because for that I like more of a medium roast. Additionally, I like that it's in whole bean form, because it will last longer and I get a fresher taste doing the grinding myself before brewing it. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who likes or prefer dark roasted coffee ... show more

I’m usually not a fan of the dark roasts, but in this case I make an exception because it tastes very delicious. The flavor has a strong bite to it, but the profile is very smooth all around, so it is very drinkable. You also get a lot of of it for the price so the value is excellent as well as the taste. It is very smooth and you could tell that the qualities is there because it’s from a reputable seller, I would definitely recommend this brand to anybody to try, especially if they like dark roasts or grinding your own beans and making an espresso the old-fashioned way. 5/5. ... show more
