I’ve used several backup cameras over the years, but this solar powered, magnet mounted camera is on a whole different level. Installation took just minutes no drilling, no wiring, no hassle. The magnetic base is incredibly strong and holds the camera securely in place even over bumpy roads. The solar panel keeps the camera powered without me having to worry about charging, which is perfect for long trips. The large touch-screen monitor mounts easily inside the vehicle, and the picture quality is excellent crisp, clear, and with a wide viewing angle. I love that I can place the camera anywhere within range, whether on the back of my trailer, camper, or even my boat trailer, and move it as needed. This has made hitching up and backing into tight spots so much less stressful. The connection is stable, the night vision works well and the portability is a huge plus. This is hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made for towing reliable, easy to use and well worth the investment. Highly recommend to anyone towing trailers, campers, or boats!

I don't usually get overly excited about these types of products. Normally I would prefer to use cameras which are permanently built in/permanently attached/hardwired into the vehicle's electrical system. However, in this case I needed a backup camera for a vehicle that's considerably older (2004) with no easy way to incorporate a camera into the existing system (I mean... it is old enough to where it doesn't even have a screen beyond the typical 8 digit or so display showing tuned frequency). Also, being an older van (and a conversion van at that), it doesn't have any "always on" 12v wiring in the area where the camera needs to go. Fortunately this product makes all of that a non-issue. The camera portion of the setup is entirely self contained - it has an internal battery to keep it powered, a solar panel to recharge said battery, it attached to the vehicle using a (STRONG) set of magnets (covered by a 1/4" thick layer of squishy foam to prevent any scratches), and - most importantly - submits its signal to the display wirelessly. So, you can place the camera virtually anywhere you would like, and it just works. The range is also quite good. During my initial testing, I was able to interact with the camera while the display was inside the house - a good 60 feet away. Additionally, if you need to mount this camera to a body part that is not metal (such as fiberglass panels), the manufacturer will send you a metal base plate at no charge, which you can attach anywhere using a set of screws. Then that serves as the base to which you attach the camera's magnetic bits. The display is a 7-ish inch touch screen. Clarity is decent (though I have not yet had a chance to try this in bright, direct sunlight). Not 100% sure on resolution, but from some of the on-screen messages I've seen, it looks like it uses a 720P resolution. The display comes with an adjustable arm which has a suction cup on the other end, so you can attach it to the top of your dash, or to the windshield. From experience, these suction cups aren't the most reliable, and I haven't had a chance to take this on any significant drive, so the jury is still out on that. The camera can be used as a backup camera, as well as a regular dashcam type camera. In the settings you can enable or disable the typical set of perspective lines that superimpose on the video signal to give you an idea of where you're going while backing up. You can also enable or disable recording functionality, and set the length of the clips it stores on the (included) memory card. It does have a 32GB card included, which is a nice touch, however, as always, if you plan to rely on the footage being recorded for any serious purpose (such as to document potential crashes), do yourself a favor and buy a reputable brand memory card instead (such as Sandisk). The manual mentions it supports up to 128GB. The base/display is capable of syncing with 2 separate cameras to the one main control unit. In the settings it is configured for a single screen out of the box, but you can go into the settings to pair a second display. Within the initial controls that show when you tap the screen once, you can tap the camera icon to cycle "camera 1" > "camera 2" > "camera 1 & 2 split screen". Pretty nifty! Finally, the camera comes with both a USB wall charger (recommended to charge the camera's battery before first use), as well as a 12v power plug (to power the display while it is in use). Unlike the camera portion, the screen does not have its own battery, so you need to keep it plugged in during use. Both the camera and the display use USB-C connectors (yay - finally). Overall highly recommend this! Based on the experience so far, I will be getting a couple more of these for some of our other vehicles!

Monitor started going in and out about 1 month after purchasing. 5 days after the return period, the monitor stopped powering on and showing anything. There's not even instructions on how to pair the cameras to a new monitor so now I'm stuck as to what to do. It'd be great if the monitor was a bit higher quality... it feels cheap compared to the cameras. It would also be great if the cameras could be connected to another monitor or to a smartphone so when the monitor fails there is another solution. I enjoyed it while it did work :( I'm bummed it failed so quickly after purchasing. I hope the seller has a solution for me and customers in my situation.

Great product. The camera is heavy duty. I want to mount it on the back of my motorhome but its all fiberglass. You will need the mounting plates for fiberglass applications. The manufacturer will send them for free if you need them. Once i get to my destination you can use them as security cameras because of the wireless feature.

Build quality is very good. The unit seems to be solid and the camera has some heft to it. It was super easy to set up, just plug and play and I had a video feed. I even moved it from vehicle to tractor to trailer and mounting was really easy. The magnets are really strong so this won’t blow off. Even on very bumpy roads the camera held tight. Video quality is very high and I think this unit has very good value for the price point. Very happy with this purchase.
