The media could not be loaded. This backup camera is really good quality considering its selling price. Quality materials: The camera component has some weight to it, so it doesn't feel cheap, and it has a magnetic backing that sticks really well to a flat metal service. If the surface you need to attach it to is not metal, the company will send you a mounting plate for free. I've ordered my mounting plate, but I've yet to receive it. Easy setup: My camera battery arrived half-charged, but I fully charged it overnight before testing it as the manual recommended. My setup is probably much simpler than most others. I'm using this on a 5X8 utility trailer with 4 ft. plywood sides. Configuration and pairing went smoothly and the video quality is really good. Of course the distance between the camera on my trailer and the monitor on my windshield is only about 16 feet. I like that the package includes a charging cube, a charging cable and a car charger that plugs into a cigarette lighter. Also included is a mounting arm with suction cups to attach the 7 inch monitor to your windshield. I like that it has a solar panel to help supplement the main power source. The manual emphasizes that the solar panel only helps to extend battery life, but you can't count on it to provide all the power the camera needs. No complaints at all. This is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Setup was incredibly simple — it magnetically attaches to the back of my vehicle in seconds, and the wireless connection to the monitor is fast and stable. I don't usually get overly excited about these types of products. Normally I would prefer to use cameras which are permanently built in/permanently attached/hardwired into the vehicle's electrical system. However, in this case I needed a backup camera for a vehicle that's considerably older (2004) with no easy way to incorporate a camera into the existing system (I mean... it is old enough to where it doesn't even have a screen beyond the typical 8 digit or so display showing tuned frequency). Also, being an older van (and a conversion van at that), it doesn't have any "always on" 12v wiring in the area where the camera needs to go. Fortunately this product makes all of that a non-issue. The camera portion of the setup is entirely self contained - it has an internal battery to keep it powered, a solar panel to recharge said battery, it attached to the vehicle using a (STRONG) set of magnets (covered by a 1/4" thick layer of squishy foam to prevent any scratches), and - most importantly - submits its signal to the display wirelessly. So, you can place the camera virtually anywhere you would like, and it just works. The range is also quite good. During my initial testing, I was able to interact with the camera while the display was inside the house - a good 60 feet away. Additionally, if you need to mount this camera to a body part that is not metal (such as fiberglass panels), the manufacturer will send you a metal base plate at no charge, which you can attach anywhere using a set of screws. Then that serves as the base to which you attach the camera's magnetic bits. The display is a 7-ish inch touch screen. Clarity is decent (though I have not yet had a chance to try this in bright, direct sunlight). Not 100% sure on resolution, but from some of the on-screen messages I've seen, it looks like it uses a 720P resolution. The display comes with an adjustable arm which has a suction cup on the other end, so you can attach it to the top of your dash, or to the windshield. From experience, these suction cups aren't the most reliable, and I haven't had a chance to take this on any significant drive, so the jury is still out on that. The camera can be used as a backup camera, as well as a regular dashcam type camera. In the settings you can enable or disable the typical set of perspective lines that superimpose on the video signal to give you an idea of where you're going while backing up. You can also enable or disable recording functionality, and set the length of the clips it stores on the (included) memory card. It does have a 32GB card included, which is a nice touch, however, as always, if you plan to rely on the footage being recorded for any serious purpose (such as to document potential crashes), do yourself a favor and buy a reputable brand memory card instead (such as Sandisk). The manual mentions it supports up to 128GB. The base/display is capable of syncing with 2 separate cameras to the one main control unit. In the settings it is configured for a single screen out of the box, but you can go into the settings to pair a second display. Within the initial controls that show when you tap the screen once, you can tap the camera icon to cycle "camera 1" > "camera 2" > "camera 1 & 2 split screen". Pretty nifty! Finally, the camera comes with both a USB wall charger (recommended to charge the camera's battery before first use), as well as a 12v power plug (to power the display while it is in use). Unlike the camera portion, the screen does not have its own battery, so you need to keep it plugged in during use. Both the camera and the display use USB-C connectors (yay - finally). Overall highly recommend this! Based on the experience so far, I will be getting a couple more of these for some of our other vehicles!

VEKOOTO VK7-2 support was great, Kim went above and beyond to help me. The VK7-2 is great, it can be installed on any piece of steel on your truck. It can be adjusted so you can see the hitch ball on your truck to any distance to your boat. The guide lines will adjust up/down, right/left, and narrower/wider, now that's nice. Screen is 7" so you see everything. Really clear too. Strong magnet, connectivity from monitor to camera is strong, lots of adjustments for cameras, solar charging and also comes with a USB adaptor to charge it for super functionality and battery life. Give it a try.

I was worried this might not be a good quality system, but I was so pleasantly surprised. Its true, the mounting of the monitor is a bit weak and I have rigged my own. But the cameras, their connectivity, the clarity and the cycling through the multiple views is impressive. This system is a great value for the money and it has endured extreme off road conditions repeatedly.
