Comes with everything you need to get it going. Cables and SD card. The camera is all plastic and very light. I actually rather have a plastic and light camera as opposed to a metal casing camera. In case of an accident you don't want a flying metal camera inside your car. Yes, the suction cup will NOT hold the camera in case of a serious accident. The image quality is good. Not great, but does the job. It records both rear facing camera and front face camera at 1920 x1080. I made a picture in picture video showing both views. The app is a bit hard to maneuver, but getting the SD card and copying files are super easy. You will see 2 folders named 1 and 2. Front facing camera is folder 1, rear facing camera is 2. All videos are MOV (!?) which is an old uncompressed format. a 3 minute video (the camera will break videos in 3 minute blocks was 236Mb +236Mb or 472Mb. Which is roughly 1GB for each 6 minutes, or a 64Gb card will record 384 minutes (6.4 hours) of videos before erasing the first recording and so on. Those cameras work on FIFO mode, meaning first video in will be the first video deleted when the card reaches maximum capacity. So if you want to save something from the card, do it before goin on a long road trip or you won't find the images any longer. Other than this camera works good.

Dual Dash Cam Front and Inside with 64GB Card I received this Dual Outside / Inside Dash Cam, so I could write an honest review for Amazon customers. I installed the dash camera, because keeping a video record of my driving is important to me. I have been in three auto accidents over the past 40+ years of driving, with the accounting of each accident was just hearsay and the officers’ scribbled notes. If I had had a dash cam, the ticket’s conclusion might have been very different. The accounting of the accident would have been much more precise and clearer to everyone. I was so focused on the front dash cam, I really give much attention to the inside dash cam. After I got the cams, I gave each a thorough examination of how they worked, after instillation. I thought knowing what is going on in the backseat was nice but, in my case, not that big a deal. Until I took my puppies for their first ride in the car. I installed a front seat barrier so my, all too willing, puppies didn’t give me a hand driving. First time out, I expected to hear barking and possibly crying. What I did hear were the dog’s play fighting and the sound of something I couldn’t identify. The inside dash cam tuned out to be an excellent puppy monitor. Thanks to its real time view of what was happening in the back seat, the inside dash cam showed me two of my dogs fighting with each other and tearing one of the side panels at the same, the third puppy was taking a leak on the blanket I had put down for them. The above experience didn’t necessarily comply with the cams’ intended use, but because of what it showed me, I was able to pull over, smack the two with destructive behavior, and soak up the other’s mistake, thinking the inside of the car was also a urinal. This outside/inside cam package works very well for me. I would think a taxi or Uber driver would see the package second, only to gas, in importance.

Excellent for documenting all kinds of things that happen on the road. The video quality is decent and the files are easy to locate on the micro SD card. The menu is fairly intuitive to navigate and it comes with a handy spudger tool for hiding the power wire. While it's not comparable to a higher end capacitor dash camera, it's fine for what it is.

The fact that this Dash Cam has both FORWARD (i.e. Road) and REVERSE (i.e. passenger area) recording can help better understand more of the Big Picture of traffic hazards, especially for younger or new drivers who may not understand the potential distraction of events INSIDE the car, for affecting how events OUTSIDE the car! Looping storage is great... ability to just keep recording unless and until some big even emerges that requires SAVING a file for later review (legal, insurance, family questions) The SIZE of this camera system is also great... small enough to not be too obtuse on the glass, and yet big enough to capture what it needs to capture. (Tho these tiny screen-in-screen views don't let themselves to much clarity. Good enough resolution, though, to pull off into a PC for review, and much improved understanding!) All in all: A very nice little unit!

The setup was quite simple. The suction cup mount has a nice quick release lever that makes attaching and detaching simple. The camera quality is good, not high enough to legibly read license plates unless you've come to a complete stop behind another vehicle, but still decent for the price. I've found that the rear/cabin facing camera's color calibration is a bit off. Greys appear purple and it is difficult to distinguish an accurate color of dark colored vehicles during the day but it does a good job covering the interior of the car and passengers. The in-built microphone works well too. When connected to the vehicle's accessory outlet it automatically powers up and starts recording when the car is started and has a delayed shutdown once the ignition is stopped to cover those leaving the vehicle. Transferring video from the dashcam to a computer is as simple as taking out the microsd card and connecting it to a PC to copy off any footage if needed. I have noticed that the microsd card provided is quite slow when transferring videos, I would recommend getting a higher quality endurance-rated microsd card. Overall happy with the dashcam!

This Dash Cam records very good quality video and audio. It records both front and rear views simultaneously, storing each camera view in separate folders. The settings menu offers a variety of options. What I like most is its lightweight compact size, along with its easy-to-use suction cup. The dash cam stays very securely in place on our windshield. I highly recommend this Dash Cam.
