The media could not be loaded. The COOAU D20 is a great dash cam, a quality very solid hardware. It does not come with a memory card and they recommend against the cheaper SanDisk ones. I purchased a 256GB Samsung Pro Plus card for my camera. This microSD card works great and handles the video recordings at the highest resolution with no problems. The video recording settings allow for various length recordings of clips up to 5 minutes. The camera creates a new file after the designated time is reached that you can review either on the camera itself, using the app, or just pull the microSD card out and upload the files to a computer. The file names are created with the date time stamp when the video clip is recorded so it makes it easy to sort them on a computer later. The files are uploaded as .mp4 files on my MacBook pro and play back quality is great. When the memory card is full of recorded clips it will start overwriting the clips if they are not locked files that are saved. The camera also will remind you to format the card when its full. This camera is easy to use and settings can be adjusted on the camera itself via the menu options or by using the ficom app on your phone for quicker setup. I have had a few issues with the ficom app staying connected to the camera wifi and have not had a chance to work through all the bugs with it yet to troubleshoot the problem. I have found the new updated app Aoni CarDVR worked and stayed connected and seems to have the same functionality as the ficam app. The included camera mount options of the suction cup or the sticky tape mount allows for flexibility of where you install the camera in your vehicle. I prefer the suction cup mount on my windshield. The included extra-long usb power cable connects with a USB-A connection and can be used with the included 12v connector or directly to a powered USB-A port in a vehicle. The cable connects to the camera with a micro usb connection. The cable is long enough to be routed around the car and hidden out of the field of view. The video quality captured is great during daytime or nighttime. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a great quality full featured camera for a great price. I also own the D20S which I have had for about a year and wanted a new one for our other vehicle. The updates to this D20 model match all the features of my other model camera except the max resolution at 1080P is a little lower on this model D20 . The suction cup window mount allows me the flexibility to take the camera with me on business travel and quickly mount it in a rental vehicle. This D20 dash camera is great to capture crisp clear video of the traffic around you or the scenery if you are on the road alone. With all the crazy drivers on the road today the video should be able to capture any incident and help provide evidence of any event if needed. This is a nice dash cam. Very user friendly and easy to use. Just plug and play type. Installation is easy as well. The app was easy to use and the recording and video clarity is great. However, I do have a few issues. 1. It list the 24 hour detection parking mode. But this requires a hardwire kit to keep continuous power to the dash cam. The details here on Amazon doesn’t state that unless you read the manual inside the box. 2. Price, It list at $ 209.99. But then it says its $145 but then there’s an option to pay $109 with some Amazon coupon. Then the next day, its now at 48% off which is now $109.99. Why all the price changes? 3. Features. Upon searching other comparable dash cams, I found a few with the same features at a lesser price. 4. No mini SD card. Other dash cams comes with SD cards. This doesn’t. 5. I just found another similar dash cam at $69.99 with the same features. Plus has a 64GB SD card with a card reader and data cable. I've been testing this out for a few days now. Its good. But still deciding if I should keep this just due to the price. UPDATE (2/23/2024): Since I bought this product around Dec 2023 and used it during a road trip, it worked great. I never used it again after our road trip. Now we are going on another road trip and I plugged the dash cam cord into the dash cam, the plug was loose and it fell apart when I unplugged it. I sent a message to Cooau Customer service and waiting for a response. Updated (2/25/2024): Cooau Customer service got back to me really fast. They took care of my issue and made it right. For the price I really thought the quality of this dashcam wouldn't be as a great as the higher priced ones but I was pleasantly surprised! Both front and rear cameras are great in the day time and the night time infrared is also surprisingly good. The suction grip is my preferred method to attach to my vehicle and it works great. I also appreciate it comes with a sticky grip option as well. Long cord to make sure it reaches the auxiliary outlet. Over all very happy with this dashcam and look forward to purchasing more products from this company for my other vehicles. ... show more
