We purchased two stools to go with the new counter-height table. Not unexpectedly, it took less time to assemble the 2nd stool than the first. It probably took a couple of hours to do both. I appreciated that all the parts were in separate little bags and labeled. It made it easier to put the correct items together (the correct sized bolt, then the spring ring, then the washer, etc.) based on the instructions. The only issue we had involved putting the back on the first stool. We missed putting in one of the bolts, but I think it was because the corresponding hole was missing from the part that needed to be attached. Didn't realize this until we were putting the 2nd stool together. Fingers crossed not using this bolt doesn't cause any issues. Other than that, we're happy with the stools. ... show more

This is the highest quality furniture purchase I've ever made on Amazon. The chairs swivel smoothly, are balanced and habe good weight. Seat cushion is comfortable as is the back rest. I had waited a while to buy barstools and I'm happy I did. These are beyond my expectations. Surprisingly easy to put together, all 3 took me about 90 minutes total to build.     • Finish is a little inconsistant.

Order one to see if we would like. It had a manufacturing flaw that wouldn't allow the bolts that go through the back and chair leg assemby. Others have mention this. Had to take a "C" clamp to pull Stretch" the two together so that the main bolts could be aligned. That said we took a chance and ordered 3 more for or newly remodled kitch island. We did this because overall the chairs are very well constructed. We really liked the look and the cloth material is excellant and can't be foumd anywhere else on line or in retail stores. The finish on the chairs are somewhat inconsistant but not aweful. The remaining three had holes that aligned to pull the back to the seat assembly so no need to "c" clamp. Thankfully! Everyone that see them think they are great. Nice and heavy too! ... show more

Easy assembly, no surprises, all the hardware was included, no missing pieces. Instructions are easy to follow. I'm a big ol' boy and these stools feel quite sturdy...only slight thing I'd change is to make the seat slightly larger diameter but they will still work nicely as is. And...they look good!
