EDIT. now it's Nov. 2nd with practice I have the system down to about 2 minutes both ways. Install and remove the shade. The local weather has cooled somewhat, so no 90 + degree days. But i can say there have been a few 70 + days and the car stays noticeably cooler than the ambient temperature, also the dash stays cool to the touch. I'm very happy with this shade. I’VE HAD THIS (Nmoiss Windshield Sunshade) SCREEN FOR 3 DAYS NOW SO FIRST IMPRESSIONS. I LIKE IT AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT! I HAVE A BLACK 2006 DODGE DURANGO. PREVIOUSLY I HAD THE TYPICAL FOLD UP STYLE SCREEN, IT WORKED "OK", BUT I HAD NOTICED A FILM ON THE INSIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD WHICH WAS VERY HARD TO CLEAN OFF (I THINK THE HEAT CAUSED VAPOR OF SOME KINE TO BE RELEASED??). SO FAR, I HAVEN'T ANY SUCH PROBLEM BUILD UP. APOLOGIES FOR THE INSIDE PHOTO, IT LOOKS KIND OF FUNNY. I TRIED TO GET AS MUCH OF THE WINDSHIELD AS POSSIBLE, BUT IT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE THERE ARE HUGE GAPS, NOT REALLY THE CASE. THIS DOES A GOOD JOB COVERING THE WINDSHIELD. SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS. FROM THE OUTSIDE PHOTO YOU CAN SEE IT COVERS VIRTUALLY THE ENTIRE WINDSHIELD. I HAVE A DASH CAM WHICH CONVENIENTLY HAS A QUICK DISCONNECT FROM THE WINDSHIELD MOUNT. I DON'T HAVE A THERMOMETER HANDY SO I CAN'T VOUCH FOR AN EXACT TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE BUT IT DOES FEEL COOLER A FEW MINUTES AFTER INSTALLING THE SCREEN. THE SPRING TIPS IN THE CORNERS DO HELP FOR A “CUSTOM” FIT. JUST SO YOU KNOW. THIS IS BASICALLY AN UMBRELLA, SO IF YOU WANT A 30 SECOND REMOVAL PROCESS, FORGET THAT. I’M KIND OF A PERFECTIONIST SO IT TOOK ME ABOUT 3-4 MINUTES TO DISMOUNT THEN SMOOTH ALL THE FOLDS OUT SO I COULD WRAP THE VELCRO CLOSURE STRAP AROUND. I was using a sun shade that, although tailored for a Subaru Outback, was essentially glorified bubble wrap. It worked ok but it took some effort to put it in place and when not in use, it took up a lot of space, even when rolled up. So I was looking for something better. While searching on Amazon, the umbrella-style shades seemed like a good solution and the Nmoiss shade looked like the best of the bunch, judging from the reviews. The Amazon page also confirmed it would fit an Outback. So I ordered it and I tried it out this morning. I was initially concerned about how well it would fit around the Subaru "Eyesight" sensors at the top of my windshield, but I found the fabric had enough "give" to fit well around the sensors. Installation was very easy as other reviewers have noted. At the end of the day, I found it worked at least as well, if not better, than my old "bubble wrap" shade. Of course, the umbrella-style design made it easy to store when I took it down. So I consider this a win. The Nmoiss product lived up to the positive reviews and checked all my boxes.

I’ve tried a few different windshield sun shades over the years, and this umbrella-style one is by far one of the most convenient. The setup is super quick—just open it like an umbrella and it fits right into place. It saves so much time compared to the traditional fold-out styles. It does a really good job blocking sunlight and heat. After leaving my car parked in the sun, I noticed a big difference in how much cooler the interior felt, and it definitely helps protect the dashboard from that harsh sun exposure. The material feels solid, and the frame structure seems sturdy without being too bulky. When you’re done, it folds down compactly and stores easily, which is another big plus. Pros: • Super quick and easy umbrella-style setup • Blocks heat and sunlight effectively • Helps keep car interior cooler • Compact and easy to store • Sturdy frame with decent build quality • Great for daily use in hot weather Cons: • Takes a little practice to position perfectly at first • May not fit every windshield shape exactly • Handle can get in the way depending on dashboard design • Slightly more rigid than foldable shades when storing in tight spaces Overall: This is a great upgrade from traditional sunshades. i bought this to replace my old sunvisor i bought from a different seller last year since texas summer has fully started again. it stated that a medium would fit my model car but i have to move the springs around since they hang over the windows and leave a huge gap on the sides to fully cover. this also did not make the car feel any cooler, if anything.. it felt even more hot and the wiring and metal handle got extremely hot that i burned my forearm while trying to adjust it during my lunch break at work which never happened with my old visor. the umbrella also does not close unless the stand is fully straight meaning u have to move around your console/monitor to unbend it and then close, because of the metal stand moving it around can be hard so be careful with your console. very disappointed as this is a costly item and was looking forward to a tad bit of a cooler car this summer and not 1st degree burns on my hands removing the visor everytime to put it away

While this works as intended, it is NOT big enough for a 4th Gen Econoline van (92-14). I'm keeping it, and I'll use it, but just know, this isn't wide enough to span the entire windshield. There's 3+ inches that isn't covered on each side. It does stay in place w/o the use of sun visors though, so that's nice. For the price, I'm not satisifed.

It really has blocking the sun from getting into the vehicle so it stays cooler the whole entire time while you’re away from your vehicle is spa like an umbrella from your home windshield please anyone that buys this just make sure you measure the size of your windshield so you won’t be disappointed, but otherwise I’m that this is the best one I bought so far highly recommended!!!

The Nmoiss Upgraded Ice Rib Windshield Sun Shade Umbrella, Medium (56" L x 31" W) is a perfect fit for my 2008 Lexus RX350. I was a little worried about deploying it inside the car (I pictured the awkwardness of opening an umbrella in a tight space), but it was actually very easy to open and position. The cutout for the rearview mirror is spot‑on, and the Velcro strap keeps it in place. I used the visors to secure the sides, bent the handle slightly, and it all fit nicely to protect my fragile dash from the sun. It’s not reflective, so I’m not sure how it would perform on an extremely hot day, but it did a great job in this afternoon’s sun. It opens and folds up easily, stores neatly in its little bag, and fits under the rear seat. I really like the umbrella‑style design — it makes using a sunshade much simpler.
