This windshield sunblock cover replaces those twist up/twist down round thingies that never twisted back down correctly nor did much good. This one WORKS, and it is a breeze to install. I have a dash cam,but that is not a problem with this umbrella-type rectangular shade. We had quite a heat wave these last few days up here in New England, and this cover made a noticable difference. If course your car has to face the sun in order for this to work. It pops open like an umbrella, but not so hard that it knocks your mirror out of whack. It then slides nicely around the mirror and my dash cam mount. It does keep the camera inside which is not a bad thing in blazing sunlight. Tabs with velcro finish the sunblock. Takedown is just as easy: undo the velcro tabs, push the button, and it folds down neatly just like an umbrella would. Then just twist the fabric around the shaft and slide it in the sleeve. I love that thing! It is such a time saver, it is effective, and my interior is protected .

Works great! A bit over priced but if it lasts I'll keep it at 5 stars. Fit good but not great. The wand part is slightly too long for my window to dash but my mirror holds it in place so I'm good with it. Covers the whole window, very easy to use, very easy to remove, seems sturdy, will find out if our actually keeps my vehicle cooler tomorrow.

I live in Indianapolis, IN the Summer weather + humidity is pretty brutal. I drive a Chevy Equinox. This product not only is a ease to setup (think flat umbrella) its a noticeably cooler difference. With windows down and this deployed in windshield you dont feel like your being cooked alive. Is definitely more superior to other products i have used in the past. The thing i found most interesting is the dash doesnt heat up. its a noticeble difference of being able to touch both the dash and most importantly the steering wheel without having to visit the hospitals burn unit.

Really helped cool down my car! I was surprised at how easy it is to open and also to store. Helps protect my new car interior and keeps it not hot to the touch. Only downside is it's a tiny bit small. Like 1 inch too small width wise. Would definitely recommend!

Purchased this item to combat 100ºF plus tempartures and while using the visor for 2 consecutive days, the inside of my car has been hotter than fried fish grease. Before purchasing, I listed the car to verify measurements. Well, the visor is also larger than the suggested manufacturer windshield which may be the reason it's not working properly. Ease of opening: Although it's easy to install, I'll be sending this back as it is simply not worth the money if it can't do the one job it was created to do......keep the car cool or at least tolerable.
