This is an "early impressions" review, and I will update this review if any problems are discovered. This battery jump-box seems to pass my initial inspection. While I cannot verify the 59 Wh directly, it appears to both charge slowly, and drain slowly while under load. The jump box comes with a protective case that seems to somewhat durable, and should survive being thrown around in one's car-trunk, while also ensuring you can keep track of the accessories like the car-jumper-cable-attachment. The protective case is about twice the size of the battery, which the battery itself is reasonably compact. The display itself shows current charge percentage, which ports are under use. The instruction manual is easy to follow including color pictures. If you lose the manual, there are also instructions printed on the battery-cables. The jump-box also charges over USBC, which is more convenient than keeping track of custom power-cords or adapters. The light is "ok" brightness. If you want a more powerful light, you could always throw a cheap USB-powered light in the case, like the one you see in one of my photos, just make sure it's 9-inches long or less to fit in the case. [Sturdiness & Quality] Visually and by touch, it seems well made. I wouldn't expect this to be damaged, sitting in the back of a utility-van. Battery-life and battery-durability are hard to test in a short time. [Utility] These kinds of jump-boxes can come in handy when you least expect, whether you or a stranger needs a jump, or if you need some extra battery-power for your cell-phone. It's also better than jumping car-to-car because it eliminates any risk of damaging the "donor" car's electronics. [Appearance & Material] The exterior of the battery is a tough plastic or polymer. Overall it has a nice professional looking finish. The case is made out of a sturdy crush-resistant nylon. [Install / Setup] Everything about this product was fairly straight-forward, and I really appreciate that the instructions for the jumper-adapter are on the adapter itself. [Packaging] The product was well packaged and protected for shipment. [Dimensions] The jump-box-battery is 7.6 x 3.45 x 1.5 inches. The case is roughly 9.5 x 3.9 x 5 inches when closed. I don't have a scale, but the battery is rather light-weight. [Durability] As a standard disclaimer, I've only had this item for a short time, and will update this review if the item fails for any reason.

It still gets me that you can jump start a car with small batteries. LOL This battery seems a little smaller/lighter than the other jump starter I have, but this is well made and comes with a nice carrying case, so you can throw it in your trunk or bed box and it will stay together. I (luckily) didn't have the opportunity of a dead car battery, so I couldn't test it, but this unit looks well constructed. It charged up and powered devices with no issues. The plastic on the clamps seems like the brittle type, but clanking them together didn't cause then to break. Personally, I think I'd like to have the cables a little longer for more options of where to place the battery when jumping. These seem rather short.

You don't realize the need for something like this until you don't have it when you need it. Recently, my wife's car battery was completely dead (not even enough to power interior lights dead). It was parked in the garage where only her car would fit. She has a push button start on her car which creates a problem I didn't even think about before. Cars with a keyed ignition usually allows for the shifter to move out of park with the key turned on. This would have allowed me to push her car out of the garage to get it next to my truck to jump start her car. Then some vehicles used to have a hidden panel or some other method of unlocking the shifter out of park. Her 2012 Ford Edge literally has no way of doing this without having to tear into the center console to manually release the shifter. If I had this, it would have saved myself at least a half hour to an hour and many headaches. I really like the peace of mind that if my wife and son are out and her battery dies in a parking lot somewhere, she doesn't have to rely on a stranger to jump start her car. She's not mechanically inclined, but this is so simple to use that she has no problems using it. Another great solution this provides is for when we go boating. I'd hate to be stuck out in the middle of the lake or floating toward rocks with a dead battery and hoping someone is close by to help. Also imagine trying to run jumper cables while floating in water. This is also great for riding lawnmowers, motorcycles, etc. The semi hard case is great to keep everything together and protected especially since we move it between vehicles and the boat frequently so that it is always with us when if we were to need it. Again, you don't realize you need it until you do.
