These running boards were surprisingly easy to install—no drama, no thrown tools, which is always a win. The quality is exactly what you’d hope for, and they’ve already proven themselves by surviving northern snow without a single hint of rust. They fit our Trail Boss perfectly, like they were made for it. These are very nice running boards, fit my 2012 Ram 1500 perfectly, not to bad to install. I can attest that they support at least 270 Lbs. The only recommendation to the company is mark the brackets for left and right side. I like the textured finish, shoes seem to grip the step well, (this winter will be the real test). They make it a lot easier to get in and out. (my wife is on the short side she loves them). I would recommend these steps. ... show more

If I could rate less I would. Upon original order the steps arrived and was a relatively easy install. Fast forward a year and the steps are completely rusted, big pieces of the surface paint is pealing and they have to replaced. I reached out to the seller for any warranty or attempts to stand behind the product with zero response. The steps went in a 2022 Tundra, no heavy off-road use, mild Indiana winter so no significant want etc. both sides are effected so it’s no like one small spot got chipped and it spread. The coating in these steps is garbage and the seller clearly has no interest in making it right. Avoid at all cost. ... show more

This is definitely a well thought out running board with no sharp edges yet stylish. Very easy to install with room to adjust for refinement. Very sturdy yet lightweight for single person installation. Powder coating and non slip is perfect to deter PA rust and during winter time as well as wet conditions. Definitely a functional running board. Top notch quality at a very fair price. Whoever designed this is definitely a Tacoma owner because this is way better and cheaper compared to the OEM Toyota version. ... show more

Smanow BCKA-95365 Running Boards Review (Amazon) I just installed these running boards today (10/17/2025) on my 2019 Tundra Crew Max. The product is nice, with a solid feel and what appears to be a quality finish. I think it looks good on my truck. It seems to be well made and fits the factory mount points for running boards. Installation was straightforward with common hand tools: a ⅜” ratchet, 12mm,13mm, and 17mm sockets, and 3” and 6” extensions (the instructions advise AGAINST using any power tools). Reason for only 4 stars: The installation instructions, on the other hand, were awful. In addition to the always expected grammar and spelling errors, the dimensions and illustrations were ambiguous and contained a few important errors. This prolonged the installation process. For example, the dimensions shown on the step bars - used to distinguish the right from left - didn't reflect those of the product. That led me to mix them up - a fact I discovered only after partially installing one and discovering that the driver-center and driver-rear mounting holes didn't align with the brackets. I had to undo my work and swap the step bars. Another, relatively minor, error showed the threaded factory mounting spots as open, while mine had filler bolts installed that I had to remove. Not a big deal, but it cast doubt on whether I had identified the right spots, and also sent me back to my toolbox to get a 12mm wrench to remove them. I wish businesses that manufacture their products overseas would make a little effort to review and test the instructions using reasonable proxies for real customers! ... show more
