  • Great price, great quality!
Style: Scout LT EXT Color: Red/Blue
First off, this is a great scooter. I bought this scooter after major leg surgery to take with me when I moved from Florida to Georgia. My mother was able to assemble it on her own in about an hour. The scooter is heavy when it is put together but if you take the battery and seat off it becomes a lot more manageable. My mom and 14 yo brother were able to get it in and out of the back of our van relatively easily. I brought this scooter with me to Disney World and it did an awesome job getting me through the parks. I’ve never had the battery die, even after a full days use. I don’t think I’ve ever even seen the battery drop bellow 50% charged. I have also taken this scooter to the lake and it did great going up and down hills, over dirt roads and even through grass when needed. The scooter is easy to control, can go faster than a lot of other scooters, feels stable and holds a good charge. The only time I’ve had an issue was when I was going up a steep hill in the scooter. The scooter died suddenly and stopped midway up the hill, however the scooter didn’t slide backwards, so I was safe. I took the keys out and waited for a while, maybe 10 mins, then turned the scooter back on and it was working again. I think the hill was just a bit too steep. My leg was in a straight leg brace and I was able to keep it straight in the scooter. I am 6 feet tall and my foot hung a bit off the front of the scooter but it didn’t bother me or cause any problems for the scooter. There was plenty of room for my other leg so if you are tall and can bed your knees I think this scooter will work great for you. This scooter is just as high quality as scooters three times the price. ... show more

  • READ !! one MAJOR assembly step was missing in the MANUAL !! Great scooter for travel !
Style: Scout LT Color: Red/Blue
I am 5 ft and 61 yrs old. I bought this for my hubby, who is 5'10 and 240 lbs. He loves it. It works very well for the intended use of being a travel scooter for occasional trips. I did my homework, and was very aware of how the unit assembles and disassembles, and am able to get all the parts in the car. Packaging was good. NOTE**** Manual left out an IMPORTANT instruction step ! Once you have the scooter all assembled , you have to UNLOCK the WHEELS ! Manual diagram shows the Unlock Knob but not HOW to make it unlock. SO on the rear of the scooter is the red lever for FREEWHEEL or DRIVE position. Put the lever UP into the Freewheel position and then go to the front of the scooter. At the base of the tiller on the front is the Unlock knob. PULL it OUT and then turn to unlock the wheels. It is hard to see but the knob is marked Lock and Unlock. This operates easily , is well made as a Travel scooter. This is not meant for heavy duty use, but it does everything it should as expected. The ride is solid and great on good surfaces, it maneuvers reasonably on rough areas, but not recommended for an extended period of time. Scooter is overall easy to use, is whisper quiet and being 4 wheels is very stable., seat is comfortable and has a lot of the features the very expensive scooters have. We are very pleased, and a whole new world of opportunity has opened up with this purchase. ... show more

  • Good quality
Style: Spitfire Pro EXT Color: Multi
I bought this scooter to use for a trip to Las Vegas. I didn’t get to use it as much as I had planned due to I wanted to walk as much as I could tolerate. When I did use it, I was very impressed. It made my trip enjoyable. Estimating I rode it for 1 1/2 miles and the battery indicator only decreased by barely one notch. My favorite feature is that you can adjust the speed while it is moving. The seat could have been more comfortable though. I still give it five stars. The supposed horn is quiet. It’s not of much use. The basket was a great place to put my purse. I wrapped my purse strap around the steering handle twice for extra security. Nothing really heavy should be put in the basket. I’d say no more than five pounds. If you’re operating this where there’s a lot of people around, I recommend using a lower speed until you get used to it. I almost ran in to several people because I was going a little too fast. You need to be aware, as people will just stop right in front of you and this scooter can’t stop on a dime. A part was broken upon arrival so I contacted the company and they sent a replacement. Great customer service! Very prompt with replies. ... show more
