  • The seller/company does not back their guarantee like they claim.
The brackets that hold the arm broke off while it was still under warranty. I contacted them by email which it the only way to submit a claim. They asked for more information which I did my best to give them but they have never responded again.. That was close to 2 months ago.

  • Heighth
We had to lower the chair because the seat was too high and now the frame catches on the threshold going out the door.

  • I like it. I only have one complaint and that ...
I like it. I only have one complaint and that is that there is a rubbing sound that I hear when I am being pushed around. Can't pinpoint where it's coming from exactly but it's not a big enough deal to return it. It is comfortable to sit in. My husband said that the handles are a little uncomfortable to use when he's pushing me. Again, not a big deal. It will get me around just fine and that's all I need. ... show more

  • falls apart
The left brake loosened and needed repair. The right arm was loose and could not be tightened. It was bent while being loaded on a paratransit van. Within a day it fell apart. It lasted a little over a year. I would not not purchase this model again. To many moving parts that might break or need adjustment. ... show more

  • Brand new should stay brand new for at least a week right?
We got this wheelchair for my mom who’s previous wheelchair was well used and in need of being replaced. We got this one and since it was brand new the first couple of days went well. It was easy to move around, turning sharp corners was nice and the ride was smooth when pushing my mom in it, but no more than a week later we started hearing a noise coming from the wheels like it needed to be oiled. It sounded like it was holding too much weight or like we’ve been using it for months and the wheels were needing a tune up. My mom is 350lbs and the description on this wheelchair I believe was a minimum of 450lbs weight limit, so 100 lbs under the described weight limit shouldn’t, I would think, cause this wheelchair to squeak. We put some WD40 to try and help reduce the sound but it doesn’t fully go away. What a waste of money and time for someone who’s mobility is dependent on having a good wheelchair and yet gets one that already needs to be replaced. And on top of that, we couldn’t return the item. ... show more

  • Built like a tank!
Built solid. I needed something this well made due to my nearly 400lb weight. The only thing is this chair is heavy but I knew this before I bought it.

  • What this most is is a service contract for routine maintenance
My chair is adjusted so the brakes seem constantly on and the resistance from the wheels wears me out. It is as if my house has hills I must overcome. Even though my weight is 100 less than the weight limit, I have had 2 wheelchairs that the spot weld that the armrest is attached with. this non-repairable feature is a fact of life guaranteeing the wheelchair's structural integrity. ... show more
