  • Wonderful Wheelchair for My Wife
Style: Removable Full Arms/Swing Away Foot Rests Size: 1.33 Foot (Pack of 1)
My wife has lung cancer and COPD. She can walk but requires oxygen and walking anywhere makes her completely winded. This wheelchair is fantastic. We have had it for a couple of months now and for the frequent doctor's appointments it has made both of our lives so much better. It is light and easy to wheel her around yet is made very well. I have a small SUV and it collapses easily and fits into the back with no problem at all. It is not too heavy to lift in either. My wife is only 5'4" and weighs about 120 lbs. but the 16" wide chair is perfectly comfortable for her and it fits through doorways without any problem at all. In fact, I sat in it and it is very comfortable for me (and I am 6' tall and weigh about 225 lbs.) It maneuvers well when there is not a lot of room and when I take her out, she has to have oxygen so I have to coordinate her and the carriage for the oxygen. This wheelchair allows me to coordinate both with no problem. It came basically assembled and is very easy to open and fold down for putting in the car. The feet rests are easily detachable and adjust very easily. The best thing was the price. I wasn't sure that for this reasonable price, it would be made that well or stand up to extended usage but so far it is perfect. I could have spent a lot more on another wheelchair with a few more fancy features, but for something that really works well and is reasonably priced, I am extremely happy with our purchase and how well it works for us. ... show more

  • Like all wheel chairs, you must be careful of the center of gravity.
Style: Removable Full Arms/Elevating Leg Rests Size: 1.6 Foot (Pack of 1)
I have to say that the first product that came was missing the foot rests, which made it pretty much useless. However the replacement that came was all in order, and hassle free. It did take a while for the replacement, so i did have to rent a wheel chair for 2 months. Kind of an inconvenience, and disappointment, but still it was worth the wait. Pros: - Easy fold up for travell. - Adjustable and adjustable rising leg rests - Sturdy seating, even for my heavier family members - arm rests can be swung out of the way for easy placement of the chair at a table. - comfortable even for extended use - solid rubber tires have good grip on most surfaces Cons: - carbon fiber style wheel spokes make it light, but it feels brittle and i worry they may crack at some point. - velcro that holds the back of the seat bottom to the bottom of the seat back sometimes slips, making it feel like your butt might pop through. Overall, it's a very decent wheelchair value for the price. It's the preferred brand of many of the medical centers near me. ... show more

  • I am a 300 lb man and It works great.
Style: Removable Full Arms/Elevating Leg Rests Size: 1.6 Foot (Pack of 1)
I needed a wheelchair as I was having a leg operation that needed an elevated leg rest for 6 weeks. I purchased this item and it is comfortable, maneuverable and works great for my issue. I do not need a long term wheelchair, although this one seems very sturdy. The price was very good. It needed a couple of minor adjustments but that was easily taken care of (breaks were a little too tight). ... show more

  • Great for non-permanent injuries/temporary use.
Style: Adjustable Height Desk Arms/Elevating Le... Size: 16 Inch (Pack of 1)
This is a nice basic little wheelchair that is good for short term use. I bought this wheelchair in the 16" size two years ago following hip surgery. I was partial-weight bearing and used crutches most of the time, but my workplace is full of trip hazards so a wheelchair felt much safer. I took off the leg rests and arm rests. This made the wheelchair lighter and easier to self-propel. It also made it super easy to fold up and put in the trunk of my car and even tow behind an e-assist bicycle on a flatbed trailer. Without the leg rests, this wheelchair was super-maneuverable even in my tiny 700 sf house. It also made a nice footrest when I transferred to the sofa because the seat was just the right height. My cat liked to sit on my legs and keep me warm, hence the photo. Downsides were that the components, especially the wheel bearings, are not durable. I had to adjust them every week or so when the wheels got wobbly. The solid wheels also made sure that I felt every bump and jolt. The seat had a weird strip of velcro on it that I never quite figured out. I usually used a pillow or seat cushion. Also, this wheelchair does not have any anti-tip mechanism. I had to pop a little wheelie to get over the door threshold into work and really wish I had gotten a model with tippers to make that safer. I totally recommend buying this wheelchair for short-term, non-exclusive use. We keep mine around at around at work to loan out or for when we work long events and I can't stand or walk for hours. If I ever need to use a wheelchair exclusively (not be able to use crutches) I would want something nicer and more comfy with bicycle-type tires, tipper wheels, and a more robust build. ... show more

  • Sturdy
Style: Removable Full Arms/Elevating Leg Rests Size: 1.6 Foot (Pack of 1)
As comfortable as a wheelchair can get. Great price better to buy than rent. Leg rests are comfortable and detachable. Very fluid motion of wheels. Easy to turn. I highly recommend this chair

  • Perfect in every way
Style: Removable Full Arms/Swing Away Foot Rests Size: 1.33 Foot (Pack of 1)
I was very worried buying a chair so pricey never having seen it or tested it but this wheelchair is AMAZING! It’s lightweight to perfection. My family says the wheels glide in such a way that I somehow feel MUCH lighter than I am. I am 5’4 & weigh 348 and I have space around me while sitting in it. It moves perfectly through standard door frames & pivots well moving easily through tight spaces. My daughter has a hip injury but can lift the chair into her truck. My husband used to have a lot of problems getting me around medical equipment, to the toilet then on & off & back to bed (we had so many issues) but he’s happy as a clam. We get my daily care routine done quickly & without causing him nearly as much strain. It rolls perfectly on all floors/ground types: carpet, bricks, gravel, grass, marble tile & even slightly wet grass. We have just been so blessed by owning this chair. I was never able to travel before we got this chair bc I couldn’t be moved hardly at all & now I can travel. I went in September to the beach in Florida & in October to Georgia to see my daughter & grandkids. If you need your life to change, whether you’re the handicapped person or the caregiver, this chair will do the job! ... show more
