I bought this seat for an old used kayak that I got that was missing the seat. It was able to clip in easily and fit just right. The bottom part seat I has been comfortable for shorter trips, I haven’t tried it on longer trips yet, but it is on the thin side. I’m not sure if the bottom will be comfortable for many hours but I do think the back will provide ample support. The back pocket is nice, but is hard to reach while in the kayak unless you’re pretty flexible, I can’t turn around in a kayak myself. The back pocket is not waterproof, but it wasn’t built to be waterproof either.

I removed the factory installed seatback, and added 2 padeyes to clip this seat to.... That's it... Install complete. This seat is very comfortable, offers great support, seems to have really good quality, and goes in/out of my boat super fast/easy. Also, even though this is a sit-inside boat there is room for the little bag that snaps behind the seat. I have been out in this boat 2 times and paddled close to 10 miles total. The seat works very well and is extremely comfortable.

So the seat when on really easily, and is very comfortable. Went out with it for a two day float and the first day was perfect. The seat is nice and adjustable and it was really comfy. The next day I was paddling along and it was like the board inside the seat bent or something and there was an uncomfortable spot across the back. The seat still works, and it's still better than the complete lack of seat I had prior to this, it just lost a bit of points for it bending the way it did. Aside from that, it really is a solid seat. Seems to be well made overall.

This changed my kayak experience for the better. My ocean kayak came with the standard yellow foam seak back. I purchased this padded seat and what a great difference it made. It is super comfortable; quality built and gives nice support. I am a weekend kayaker for short trips in a canal and this seat is perfect for me and my Malibu Ocean Kayak.

I got this for my 11’ inflatable paddle board. Seat lined up with D hooks on my board, I adjusted the straps so seat was upright. When I sit on it the back goes back slightly. I have haven’t used in water yet. The seat doesn’t attach to anything and don’t know if it will slip. I will pray a small adhesive Velcro strip to board and seat to keep in place. Seat back is semi rigid and doesn’t fold over on me. I liked that about this seat. Also like the seat back storage bag. I have a hard time standing and paddle for too long, so this is a nice option to rest in between standing and sitting.

I purchased this for my kayak because the one it came with was garbage. The seat was easy to install and fit into my kayak nicely. I have taken this on a four hour kayak fishing trip and it kept me quite comfortable (my legs didn't go numb). The bottom cushion feel firm to the touch but conforms to your body when sitting in it. I really like the adjustable straps on for the back support which helps out for those long kayak trips. the only issue I had with the seat was when I was launching my kayak, The back rest would fall forward covering the seat so if you were in a hurry to get on your kayak that may be an issue. I love the fishing pole holders it came with and how easy it was to grab your pole with out throwing off your balance. Over all this was a great buy for the price.

I may re-order but the one I had was bought as a used like new and unfortunately it came in with one of the straps already frayed badly. However, returns are very easy. Pros: if you adjust the straps correctly, it becomes a very useful seat and I definitely see the benefits. Once you figure out the attachments, it’s very easy. Don’t see it being good for long paddles, but shorter trips very cool option. One of the biggest pluses I see with this brand is the clips/clasp they use. No sharp edges to worry about and it seems sturdier and easier to clip. Cons: you won’t get very good back Support from this for longer paddles on a paddleboard. If you’re using it in a kayak, then you would be good. I am specifically buying for a SUP. My concerns are 1) strap thickness and quality seems thinner & cheaper than other similar sears I tested 2) back portion is not nearly stiff enough and so it kind of bends causing pain on your lumbar area (again only SUP issue); 3) seat is extremely uncomfortable and thin. I find the thin seat and issue with other similar products so I’d recommend buying an additional pad to place underneath. I have a supplemental pad and with this it works great for the seat portion. Plus the cushion I have could be used without the seat for your knee if you prefer.
