Best gift ever. My seven year old boy plays with it every day(we are on month 3). So fun, many options for music and games. Super cute, soft, batteries last! Great quality, and I would say worth the money. Fun side note, no creepy 90’s Furby antics(if you know, you know)

Pros: -Offers both chill time and activity/party time -Fun interactive lights and games -Can unlock more games and songs overtime so it keeps things new and interesting -It can interact with other Furbies and Furblets Cons: -Only comes in one color -Batteries not included -Overpriced A generous friend gifted her this DJ Furby for my 8 year old’s birthday and it was her favorite gift! There really is a lot that it has to offer and we are still discovering new games and songs weeks later. It’s fun that it can interact with her Furblets and basic Furby. The lights on the belly are a lot of fun to play around with and pressing them leads to all kinds of fun with the “belly games.” I like how it offers both chill time with yoga/relaxing music as well as dance party time to get energy out. The Furby is always making us laugh with his puns and jokes and funny appearance. She was given this as a gift and the gift giver didn’t realize it didn’t come with batteries so that was a letdown to receive it at the park and not get to use it until later, so just know that batteries aren’t included! (It requires 4 AA batteries.) There is only one style/color of DJ Furby so it would be nice if there were other styles so that if you have more than one in a household they don’t get mixed up. (My 5 year old son wants one now.) It would also be nice if they offered a more masculine color for boys interested in them. Overall we are really happy with this Dj Furby and it’s a quality toy that appeals to a wide age range!

Love this. Cute, fun and interactive. Learning games and relaxing games. This lil guy is so much fun. I have a disabled child and Furby has opened up new ways to play for her. The games are simple and Furby even talks you through relaxing exercises. Reaching and tranquil yoga poses to quick light games. It’s a toy that helps with hand eye coordination and listening skills. I know it’s not for developmentally challenged kids, but it is simple and engaging enough to be used as such. It does kill batteries very fast so buy rechargeable ones or keep extra on hand. It’s soft and can be taken on the go, durable and easy to wipe clean from sticky fingers. It’s very light weight and long enough to wear around her neck when she is moving to other areas. She has dropped it a few times and it’s still working fine so it’s not fragile . It learns more as she plays with it and evolves. It’s a great toy and worth the price. We have tried to sync a furblet but failed. It’s got cute jokes and lively music. Lights are bright and not too flashy to cause her any issues. She has vision issues and this toy offers enough instruction and lighting that she is able to navigate each game without needing help from me. She’s mastered this lil guy and loves him. Has volume control which is a must if you have a child with sensory issues. Soft and appealing on all levels. Simple one step instructions that she has time to follow before moving on to the next. Furby gives pause and processing time between cues. It’s easy to switch games and the voice of Furby is easy to understand. Clear and pronounced. His gibberish is also fun to learn. This toy is a great way to reduce tablet time. It’s got games to engage more than one player. I do the breathing and Yoga with her and get to spend a lil more quality time with her because of this lil guy. I wasn’t expecting so much from a toy, but it has been a very welcomed surprise. Can’t wait to buy a second one and unlock more fun.

I got this Furby as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old son who has a genetic developmental disability. I wasn't sure what he would think of "DJ"... it turns out that DJ is great for him! He loves him so much... my son is nonspeaking, but he "talks" to DJ. This toy has a lot of interactive options... you can talk with him, you can pet him, and there are 4 categories of games you can play. His belly lights up and you make your choices by pressing the buttons in his belly. The games are simple and fun. You can push down DJ's tongue to feed him. DJ's long body makes him more fun to hold than a traditional Furby. My son likes to hold him over his shoulder. He can also be cradled and snuggled. This toy is really worth its cost, I am really glad I stretched my budget to get him for my son. If your child has a developmental disability, then I suggest considering this toy to teach empathy, back and forth communication, and so much more.

5/5 stars for what the product is! If your child likes furbys they will love this. The songs are funny and cute and they last long enough you can dance to them. It also has a lot of funny games and features. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the first one we received had a bad speaker. We made sure it was set on the loudest setting (it has loud, normal, quiet which is awesome!) but the first one we received was really soft even on the loudest setting. It was quieter than the little furbys so I knew it wasn’t right. And if you pushed the lights on the tail of moved him while he was talking it crackled. We were sent a replacement and received it in 2 days. This one works great. Much louder and no crackling. It might have been a fluke but last year I read a review on the regular furby and someone mentioned a similar problem. Last year I unboxed both furbys and tested them before giving them to my daughter. This year I didn’t and I wish I would have. She still played with it on her birthday but she was much happier when the replacement came today. TL;DR: It IS a great gift, but unbox it and test it before gifting. Remember there is 3 volume options try all three to make sure they’re working. It goes in and out of the box easily. It is lots of fun.

I actually bought two of these Furby DJ toys for my daughters and unfortunately only one of them worked, so I had to return the other one. My daughter was really sad because she loved it so much, but the one that did work was absolutely adorable and so much fun. The colors, music, and interactions are really cute and it makes a really beautiful gift for kids. Even though I had to return one due to it being defective, I would still buy this again because it really is a great toy when it works.
